Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
mcfarlanejjm Oh boy here we go again. Even more annoying characters. The only reason Disney released this was to get the children off their lazy arses. I mean... wow... What a way to make money. Another bland special with bland jokes and one dimensional characters. Just as bad as the film. Oh boy Olaf's back to be a useless pile of H2O. Oh boy! Even after watching this I've noticed that the characters are even more annoying and stupid as they were in the original film. Even more cheap songs with lines of song from the original film. Is this literally just a copy paste film? Perhaps so... The plot: It's Anna's birthday. Thats all. Cheap plot, songs, advertising and references! All builds up to a crappy film. One thing I also hate is how they have conversations in bloody song. Probably because they can't act. Another annoying thing is how this entire bloody special is a full-blown six minute song. I kid you not. Little to no acting. Laziness. Here comes even more merchandise! And by the time of frozen 2 even more merchandise will come. It's a loophole of making money for Disney. After watching these two films I've learned that these are programming the kids literally. With awful messages and songs. This is all a trap to send kids into buying their merchandise, and it's all because something as innocent as frozen is trusted. Do not watch this film. I don't recommend it. It's not a classic nor good in any way. This film and this special is overrated, and I can't see why they make millions off of children.
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) I really enjoyed the movie "Frozen", so I was looking forward to this short film for a while. And while I was not totally won over by it, I was not disappointed either. The story is basically Elsa preparing the perfect birthday for her sister Anna with the help of all their friends from the feature film. And also the not-so friends appear again in this film, so that you get basically all the important characters from the film, which is always nice, even if it is just for a very short moment like the sauna owner. There is a reference to the famous song from the film as well (check my title) and in general there is at least as much singing than talking in this movie, maybe almost a bit too much for my taste. These 8 minutes have some decent comedic moments and the drama about Elsa's cold is nicely chosen, but not too severe for such a short film. What I liked most about it are all the tiny snowmen coming out of Elsa's mouth. I think it's inevitable that there will be a second "Frozen" film at some point and I hope the include them there as well. And Olaf's comment about not being able to read or spell was so random and pretty great too. So yeah, it's not a must-see (as the full feature film), but a nice little addition for everybody who enjoyed the movie. Recommended.
judy-59333 a great way showing the caring of both sisters. One making up lost moments since childhood days. One concern for her sister realizing something was wrong. enjoying the fun together bringing back memories that they both finding out how much they have missed one another during there time away from one another. A sister bond that never left knowing how much their love was always with each other in a different way. No matter how much Elsa like the cold it just means anyone can get sick. the concern that Anna has for her sister made it a beautiful story of a loving heart and that her sister was her priory being more important caring for Elsa health. Both sharing a deep love wanting to show how much they love and respect each other letting us all know the best gift is having two sisters that understand each other and their dream of finally being together sharing the fun since their childhood as well as working together for the people of Arendelle. It s the deep love that only got stronger during their rough moments learning more about each other as one.
Terryfan Frozen Fever is the short animation special made for fans of Frozen and it kind of serves as a sequel to the movie. However it is an short film to hold over fans of Frozen. What makes the film works is that Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff all return to reprises their respected roles as Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff. So it will bring some special meaning to the fans to get the original cast together for this short film. The plot of the film is that It's Anna's birthday and Elsa wants to make this a special day for her sister unfortunately Elsa has a cold but she is determent not to let that stop her from making Anna's Birthday special. The song "Making Today A Perfect Day" is the main song of the film and it is very catchy and original to boot. They pick a strong song for the film.Animation for this film is superb as in the first film very much attention to detail for the characters as well as the snow effects. Voice acting very interesting from the start as the cast show us why we fell in love with the characters in the first place.Plus with Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck return to direct the movie and once again deliver on the film so nice. The film is just all together fun for all ages if you love the first movie you will love this special short animation film, the film feature amazing artwork, superb voice acting, humor plus nice nods to the first film.I give Frozen Fever an 9 out of 10
