Space Cop Audience Reviews

Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
UnowPriceless hyped garbage
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Michael Ledo The film starts out in the future with Space Cop (Rich Evans) spoofing action film cops as he accidently blows up the moon mines with miners in them. Space Cop is inept, clumsy, careless, stupid, lazy, and arrogant. He gets "promoted" to Traffic Space Cop where he finds himself chasing a speeder through a wormhole back in time. He remains "Space Cop" with his gadgets in modern day Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He gets teamed up with Cooper (Mike Stoklasa) a cop from the past who got accidently released from cryro-sleep. They are teamed up as the odd couple cops with bad swagger. The film was designed to be campy and looks like a community TV project, it was done that well. There is only so much stupid Rich Evans can dish out before it gets old. The plot had potential but it feels more like a wasted opportunity as so many of the spoofs were of a generic nature and not directed at various films. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
rogerwaters I don't think this movie is anybody's idea of a classic, but if you're a fan of RedLetterMedia (like myself,) you can't go wrong! There were several laugh-out-loud moments, despite the fact that we weren't really treated to the angelic laughter of Mr. Rich Evans himself. The special effects were surprising well done considering the budget and intention of the film. All of your favorite hack/frauds are there, even Susan! Additionally, as a fan of supplementary materials, I found the behind the scenes stuff and commentary interesting. After viewing the movie, I was left with only one nagging question. Is Space Cop replacing Best of the Worst?
gaba gool This movie is good, but you have to already be into comedy to get it. This is like comedians humor, not someone who thinks the jokes in transformers are good's comedy. If you're not the right kind of person a lot of this will go over your head. The guy who was cryogenically frozen who they woke up definitely had some jokes that bothered me. He played up his schtick a bit too much. I don't know if thats just the writing or if he came up with those jokes, but a lot of them fell flat on their face. Some of them were pretty good, but definitely not all of them. Also i don't remember how it ended, but i remember being a bit disappointed. Starts of really good though. Lots of "future" jokes. They're killer, you just cant be looking for some comedy that involves someone falling in a lava pit or anything very simple. The jokes require more thought than your typical broad comedic bits, like things that play on trivializing violence, or belittling women. Which i can often appreciate, but are "low blows"- they're funny, but far from ingenious. Once again, if you're going to watch this movie, keep your expectations low for the unfrozen guy. If you're reading this, unfrozen guy, i apologize, if its any consolation you definitely did not single handedly ruin this movie. There's other problems with it too, and the biggest one is probably that the comedy isn't broad enough for the masses, and personally i appreciate that. Make stuff that you think is funny, not things that you think everyone will understand.
kdump To say that this movie was awful, abysmal, appalling or atrocious would be incorrect as this movie (on Bluray !!!!!!! what?) is far worse. I cannot think of a single adjective in the English language which would give the reader even a slight inkling as to how inane and puerile this thing is (I cannot bring myself to label this BoS as a movie).I was fortunate as to be able to skip-view this (took about 5 minutes) with brief plays of about 10 or 15 seconds. That was much more than enough to determine that I actually spent 5 more minutes than this turd deserved.Avoid, as in avoid like the plague.I did learn something though, now I know of the existence of RLM. Judging from this movie this is akin to knowing about Ebola .... just say no, don't, avoid, run for the hills ....
