The Great Gatsby Audience Reviews

Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Inmechon The movie's only flaw is also a virtue: It's jammed with characters, stories, warmth and laughs.
Brainsbell The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.
addison777 I personally think that this movie is great! I would definitely recommend reading the book before watching it, but it is a watchable movie without having prior knowledge from the book. This movie/book has so many layers to analyze, so don't just casually watch this movie, get invested!
hmalakalaie1374 Soundtracks are so baaaaad! The book has a sad theme and I really don't know why the director was trying to make it happy! The writer just copied conversions from book! Everyone can do that my friend!
smithrachael-59202 As a junior in high school, The Great Gatsby was a required book that we read and analyze. At first getting into the story and understanding the world of Nick and Gatsby was a struggle, but for it to be brought to life many years later certainly helped me gain insight into what it would've been like. I was astonished with the amount of direct quotes that came from the book. Also, there were a few scenes where the directors literally made it match a scene from the novel and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend reading the book if you already haven't and watching the movie as well!
