After their mother passes away, sisters Nicole and Annie reluctantly return to their childhood home to pay their last respects. While staying overnight in the house, the sisters sense a mysterious presence in their midst: noises startling them in the night, objects moving about, a fallen picture of an unknown woman posed next to their mother. The Pact Audience Reviews

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Clevercell Very disappointing...
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
hongkong666 This low budget Horror movie can be descibed in one word: watchable. Right from the start you realize that this movie was done with a low budget, 400k to be exact, and so it had a little bit more than Halloween. Yes, the cult classic, Mr. Michael "Slashergod" Myers, the legend. The Pact will not live up to this expectation ever. But here is the thing. The Pact still can be a lot of fun if you let that guard down and just focus on the story and this slightly eerie atmoshphere that is carried throughout the entire movie. Most of the dialogues were a bit stiff, but when things get intese actress Caity Lotz pulls it off quite well. Funny that the appearance of Mark Steger alone is enough to creep you out. He was a great casting choice! Haley Hudson as the blind "medium"... unfortunately not so much. To me this movie was pretty intense as I first saw it. After rewatching it a lot of the fascination got lost. If you never saw it, definetely see it. Just don't expect the next Halloween.
arikhrystianasoprano When my boyfriend and I scroll through Netflix, I usually groan inwardly if a film is from the later 2000's because usually it's 1) A bunch of teens on a trip and the whole thing is filmed from that irksome video camera angle (got very redundant and lame after Blair Witch, directors!) or 2) a trashy semi-snuff film dubbed "horror.""The Pact" was neither. It starts off suspenseful from the beginning, and keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout. Again, it takes a lot to scare me and/or keep me interested, and if you like the gems from the 1970s and 80s, this should definitely do it for you. This film is also very well-acted and written. There's also lots of good spooky psychic scenes.
SnoopyStyle Nicole Barlow (Agnes Bruckner) is organizing her mother's funeral but her sister Annie (Caity Lotz) is reluctant to come. Nicole disappears in her mother's home. Annie arrives and attends the funeral while Nicole is missing. Cousin Liz, Nicole's daughter Eva and Annie return to mother's home. Liz goes missing. Nicole is attacked by an invisible force and barely escapes with Eva. The police doesn't believe her. Officer Bill Creek investigates with Annie and they find a mysterious room. She takes psychic Stevie and Stevie's brother Giles to the house. The movie starts off confused and not that compelling. Bruckner starts but she's not the lead. It's an opportunity to do something scary to open this movie but it doesn't do that. It's a bit of a muddle as Caity Lotz takes over. Haley Hudson makes a nice appearance as a weird psychic. It starts an interesting better atmospheric second half.
Rob Higgins This is one twisted piece of work. If the opening scene doesn't make your skin crawl then you have no emotions. I had never heard of this film and I just happened to come across it and thought I'd give it a try. It scared the hell out of me. I did not expect this film at all. From the very opening scene i was on edge. The film is made to make you feel uncomfortable with it's loud, unpleasant soundtrack and it's gritty indie looking camera style. If you're a horror fan then this movie is a gem. It's original and delivers scare after scare. I thought that I couldn't be scared so much anymore by horror, I thought I was completely desensitized to it, I thought wrong. This is the only film that I cannot actually watch alone. Although...this film could be Marmite. I recommended it to my friends and they thought it was rubbish and not scary, I personally don't think they watched it and just said they did.
