Solemplex To me, this movie is perfection.
BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
lyle-49 I watched the whole thing... and I believe I have lost IQ points. This film was bad.How can any film make the Sharknado series look like masterpieces. Well, this film did it.The acting was terrible with one exception. The elderly couple of Elaine Partnow and Robert Evans. They were clearly the best at a 6 out of 10 on the acting. The rest of the actors would be rated 1's with the maybe one 3 (Jason Woods) - only reason everyone else gets a 1 is because it's the lowest rating available. The photography looked worse than what a freshman high-schooler would produce. The film editing was brutal. I'm wondering if they even were looking at what they were splicing together. Continuity was rough as best. The mistakes in filming were so evident I stopped watching for them. The CGI was less than amateurish if that's even possible. The sad thing about this whole film... people were paid to make it.
annus_sanctus Okay, I watched 19 minutes and already with the first quake I see the biggest nonsense: the guy rescue a girl from inside who immediately simply walks with him, with outside a few people on their knees protecting each other for falling rumble and others just sit relaxed at a pick nick table as if nothing is happening there. A hippo that is totally fake, people who don't acre about others and just go for themselves, I've never seen so many stupid things in just the first part of a movie. Even for the stupid 2,75 I rented it at google-play, I feel like I should have bought a coffee instead. And that in 54 years of my life, I never had it before.
catalinagirl-07200 The miracle is that it was actually made by adults. It is one short step up from something one might see at a Junior High School entry to film making presentation made by the worst student in class. The actors, while actually still breathing and showing obvious signs of life, gave performances that would make the petrified forest seem like the forest in Avatar by comparison. One time I saw a puppy being held on a leash run into the street just enough to be hit by a city bus. As the poor animal's leash was ripped from the grip of the hysterical little girl's hand and dragged, yelping in agony, under the wheels of the bus and crushed making the most awful squishing sound as the entrails of the puppy coated the wheels of the bus and the dress of the girl. This was the second most horrible thing I have ever seen, this movie is the first. The special effects were so bad I actually felt bad for the editors who had to watch this several times to edit the film. Most likely the only way the SFX guys could have done such a crappy job was to have done it blindfolded. I will give one piece of credit to the film. The title was successful at fooling me into thinking this was "San Andreas" the one with the Rock...after about an hour it sunk in that I had been had.
Michael Golden Contains spoilers!! This movie is a perfect candidate for Mystery Science Theater. Watched it to kill time while I did other things but found myself compelled to watch the terribleness of this movie. I actually thought Sharknado was a good laugh, and went into this one hoping for the same, but, WOW, what a junk pile.I half expected a chopper to appear at the end with a guy waving a baby around to get their attention, but it ended so much better. The dog was a perfect slap in the face to the viewer and I applaud the creators for being so daring. It's a good giggle but you'll have more fun picking out all the continuity errors and hell, just making up your own jokes.
