Taken 3 Audience Reviews

More Review
Alicia I love this movie so much
Glimmerubro It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
harrypotterjerv If you thought Taken 2 was bad, try this one.The movie literally opens with the murder of a guy WE DON'T KNOW, committed by a guy WE DON'T KNOW. After that some shots of Mills settling into life, then stuff happens, and it's all really confusing. The real problem with this is the director has taken it too far. Some things are only good in small doses and Taken is one of them. How many times can you seriously do this? The only good part is Liam Neeson and even he looks tired of this. The reveal that the new boyfriend is the murderer seems forced, and the sniper guy doesn't even make sense, and his character seems forced and is completely pointless. You could have written him out of the story and it wouldn't make a difference. It's horrid.
TonyMontana96 (Originally seen in 2015) Liam Neeson was paid well for this garbage, and he gives the only phoned in performance of his career, at one point I wondered if Neeson could give a terrible performance and this thing proved it's very possible. Maggie Grace returns, still not able to act and Forest Whitaker is also in the film as a detective, but the only thing he could detect were the bagels and numerous foods left out around each crime scene, which he devoured, and what makes it even worse is the plot, if you could call it a plot, during the film there's plenty of terribly directed chases, lifeless action sequences and atrocious camera-work, and as for the alleged plot, any way you look at it, it's a ripoff of a great film called The Fugitive, a film that actually had substance and cleverness, whereas Taken 3 is god-awful from start to finish, nothing is watchable, nothing is bearable in this dreadful, incoherent mess. It's simple, Liam Neeson kills more foreigners and Europeans while speaking dreadful dialogue, at one point he says to his daughter "Kim I need some chocolate, my blood sugar is low", he just went from badass to wimp within a few seconds. Taken 3 is among the worst film's ever made. 0/10
Joy_Johaana_Hamilton Beautifully shot and amazingly mind stimulating. Never a dull moment. This movie touches on a subject many are afraid to talk about. A topic that should be at top of the list of importance not only in America, but, unfortunately everywhere. Doesn't hide behind smoke screens, yet, has the effect of exposing the truth without having to guide you to it. Taken is a movie that everyone should see with an open eye.
Margaret Pearce The success of 'Taken' was attributable to the calm, calculating, methodical and, ultimately, brutal actions of its main character played admirably by Liam Neeson. Who can forget his "I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you". Quiet, sinister and perfectly delivered. Then we get Taken 3, and Hollywood's usual ridiculous car chases, cars flying in the air and rolling over and over, jackknifed trucks etc., etc., the usual chaos. Fight scenes with camera shots less than a second long so you haven't got a clue what's going on. Only thing missing from the modern director's bag of tricks was a few dark scenes so you can't see what's going on either. All the usual rubbish and all totally unsuited to an actor of Neeson's age and expertise. When will these director's learn?
