12 oz. Mouse Audience Reviews

UnowPriceless hyped garbage
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
johnymous Adult Swim is notorious for producing and airing all sorts of terrible material for the sake of getting a kick out of trolling television viewers. A practice that continues years after the cessation of the broadcast of 12 oz. Mouse. That said, 12 Oz. Mouse remains particularly memorable for me as one of the worst things I have ever bothered watching.Fans argue the show has depth and meaning and that its humor is an acquired taste.......Color me blind for not seeing it.Terribly animated.Terrible voice acting. If any of the characters had any semblance of personality (they don't) they would all possess the personality of someone who spends all of their free time smoking marijuana. This show is about as humorous as elevator music...elevator music that isn't even played ironically. And that's pretty much the entire soundtrack with the exception of the theme song.On a related note, I do admit that the opening theme was amazing. What followed was just total nonsense.
jasehollingsworth This show is F*&^#$% garbage. It has terrible animation, it stalls, the humor is SEVERELY lacking, and it uses the following as "comedy": murder, arson, rape, theft, stealing of government property, and many, MANY, more crimes. I don't hate it for it's bad quality, South Park is of "bad quality", and pulls off everything this show fails at. I have not seen any episodes myself, mainly because I don't like to torture myself, but also, I'm not spending any money on this pile of S&!^. My 7 year-old brother could both draw better than this, but also write a better story. From every review I've seen of it, at least 5, I can tell the story is impossible to follow, and, honestly, I. HATE. THIS. SHOW. It is a disgrace to ALL of animation, this was made in flash, you know what else was made in flash? My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Dan Vs., Kick Buttowski, Archer, The Amazing World of Gumball, Blues Clues, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Little Einsteins, Wow Wow Wubbzy, El Tigre, Gravity Falls, and Bojack Horseman. Being made in Flash is no excuse. The comedy is TERRIBLE! Apparently, the *ahem* "Hero" crashing into a building, setting it on fire, and killing at least 3 people, is comedy. This is basically the worst part of modern SpongeBob, put into an adult cartoon. I see everyone saying, "Oh, it's just has so much depth if you look past the surface." And I say, no, no it doesn't. This show is about as deep as a puddle in summer. This reminds me of modern art. People take it too seriously, look too deeply into it, and claim it as a genius masterpiece with so much depth if you can look past the surface. But, the problem is, it's just a pile of sh!t. That's the problem, people search deeply in something that has no depth, and end up coming up with all these different reasons claiming a new masterpiece, when it's just what it is at face value, a pile of both metaphorical and literal sh!t. Seriously, too everyone who likes this, are you stoned or high? Because you're seeing something I'm not. Do I need to be high t find enjoyment in this? Because, how ANYONE finds this funny is beyond my comprehension. I intended this review to only be a couple lines long. Then, I decided to give my actual thoughts on it.
kURTANGLE6890-1 At first glance, you may think this show is stupid, cheap, and overall a waste of air time. That's what I thought. Then I gave it a chance, started listening closely to the dialogue and it started to become my favorite show on Adult Swim. It was only a bonus that the plot sent us through loopholes, and us 12 Oz Mouse fans looked in the dictionary to encrypt a message we thought was there. The dialogue and characters are all just perfected, even though there are a fairly large amount of re-accruing characters you feel like you know them all well, which isn't that common on 15 minute AS cartoon shows.A hidden gem, if you are able to give it a chance despite it's early animation (and as you go on you realize it wouldn't fit with anything BUT that animation) you might find a new favorite show.
Julio Perez Shows like this don't come along often enough. Its so offbeat and irrelevant that you will either hate it or love it. Chronicling the adventures of Fitz the drunken, belligerent, shiftless mouse and his trusty friend Skillet (who appears to be a chinchilla), 12 Oz Mouse manages to make the most nonsensical situations into comedic gold. You never know what to expect from Fitz. The episodes have no clear cut storyline or destination. At any given time he can go from an in depth discussion about corndog farming into a 4 minute shootout with an unknown enemy. This could be followed up by a 2 minute drum solo by Skillet if need be. The only tie between any two episodes is the constant search for alcohol and the conspiracy theory surrounding Fitz and the possible kidnapping of his family. If you're looking for a show with beginning, middle and end, this ain't it. But if you're looking for punchline-less laughs, 12 Oz is where you'll find em. This is the most addictive show to hit Adult Swim since Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The crude animation style and slow pace make it a perfect compliment to the sharp design and quick delivery of ATHF. Hopefully OzMo will remain a staple of the Adult Swim lineup.
