Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
lancer165 This may contain spoilers. We are told at the top of the page that this small department is unknown even to the President. Now THAT makes me wonder who killed JFK. In his instance our serving President was once the Vice President. He had his brainwashed no doubt and cleared of all THAT knowledge. With My COuntry RIght or WRONG as a prevailing mantra in the US just look at what could be done here. The series itself is an action roller coaster at times fairly exciting in those quite good butt kicking sequences. There is the obligatory background deceit and lies and an enigma within a mystery nonsense. Our hero Agent X Jeff Hephner fairly attractive looked awkward for most of the shots and had an odd grin smirk smile most of the time. I would not be able to appreciate any emotion he might try to display. Sharon Stone was of no particular importance really and the part could have been any number of known females if it had to be a lady. No story showing her as a potential top dog. While a few episodes were specifically handled a running thread story involved a vengeful one time Agent. He did not enjoy being killed off so we have the typical number of episodes where he cleverly tries to get revenge. The all action finale sees him eventually offed and the Russian Leader assisted to his death by a perhaps not too particularly honest US leader. If only someone had the guts to give Khrushchev a good hammering with THAT SHOE. Yes Russia again the bad guy. Boy how have we missed them for over twenty years now. With this so far not expected to continue we do have unresolved stuff. Is there going to be the patter of little feet from John whatshisname and a very flexible Olga. A welcome diversion on screen for some but not all according to some thread lines. If only John's exploits were recognised just think how many Purple Hearts he would get. Now he can only expect cent sized fizzy sweets with 'well done' or 'good boy' on them. We did not even get to see Ms Stone's famous method acting legs at work. Is she ageing well? Keeping shape OK. No acting stretch in this. A role similar to this is still in play with Madam Secretary which I do enjoy presently and State of Affairs which expected too much hard work for a LADY although despite others who do not like Heigl I can look at for long periods. That was a failed venture yet maybe better than this for its story line content and relative lack of action fighting fireworks and general destruction. Yes maybe it is ended. John with in the wind, Eckhart on the mend and looking heroic for a moment with some shady background to explain to us, Malcolm, McRaney a voice so recognised carrying this show about to enter a year of torture, will he become a sort of Brody?. The plans of the V.P. Doubt anyone can clear all that up. I give a less than halfway mark only because the genre has been well mixed and mashed over the years and this hardly ever gave us a sense of real danger or cliffhangers. John did look like the proverbial SMILING ASSASSIN.
catherinemccutcheon1-722-557842 To start, I'm not too sure what program the low reviewers are actually watching. I find Agent X great to watch, it's not hard to watch either which I find nice after a long day working but that's not to say its something to switch your brain off either! The story is fairly simple but it is not boring, every episode has Agent X trying to stop another bad guy/girl and you feel the story expanding and other people coming from the woodwork. The actors are all fun to watch and as for the chemistry, in theory they have just met each other!! You find yourself wanting to know more about the characters. I am enjoying this series and I really hope there is another one.
Khun Kru Mark It has more cheese than the brilliant 'Our Man Flint' movies which starred cool dude James Coburn. It has more plot holes than the TV series Batman.(Watch the moving splat of blood on the white jacket. It has more life than the bored actors, moving from left to right and dancing a merry jig in it's quest for added camera time.)It has the beautiful, classy and highly intelligent Sharon Stone... although I don't know how or why! She must have seen Calista Flockhart make an arse of herself on Supergirl and thought... I can be a much bigger arse than she can!Let's face it, this madness was a long TV tribute to the Roger Corman Sci-Fi movies of the mid to late 50s.It's as if the producers bought a job-lot of rejected scripts from other crap shows and decided to make a series out of them.Remember Cop Rock on ABC in 1990? Yeah, well this is MUCH funnier than even that!
marty-237-386976 I love political thrillers and spy and superhero shows etc. The best however, are always in books and I am yet to see a series yet that compares to books like the Mitch Rapp series and here's why. They are always to tame, whether we are talking about Agent X or Person of Interest or Daredevil etc, they are all about shooting the bad guys in the knees. You know what Mitch Rapp does when confronted by an amoral killer or a terrorist? He shoots them right between the eyes so they can no longer hurt anyone else. Arrow started that way, in the first season he killed the evil doers, in the seasons since then he ties them up for the police to take them away to jail where they later escape to continue their evil ways, so tedious and boring. Agent X has started this way, he is supposedly the most highly trained agent on Earth and he misses baddies when he shoots at them and he goes out of his way to not kill them, this is unrealistic and would never happen in the real world. I've only seen the one episode though, hopefully it will get better.
