Common Law Audience Reviews

Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Rexanne It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Patrik Iguodayala Nordström I Would just like to start out with telling the world,it's an disgrace that this show got canceled, loved everything about it. Watched it for the second time now and its so enjoyable. The humor, the action, everything. It contains a lot of life lessons, good moments, sad moments, and it showcases a very interesting relationship between two competitive friends. Good actors, fitting roles, a nice moving plot and beautiful scenery. Someone need to take the L for bad marketing on this, I cant imagine anyone starting to watch this show without being hooked, its that great, seriously. I hope God makes someone pick this up again. I will wish for another season until forever. I will not feel true happiness until this is fulfilled. Thank you.
Nate This show really impressed me. I found the script writing to be compelling and intelligent. The premise of the show is clever, some people may see it as a bromance but it actually integrates smart psychological analyses of the relationship between cops and interesting analyses of their personalities. All parts are acted well, I can tell the actors and actresses really got into their parts. They are convincing as the characters. Something I especially like about the show is its good blend of action and comedy (bro code jokes really funny). It is consistently a fun show to just watch for amusement while also integrating excitement in the criminal pursuits. This show is somewhat bold to address couples counseling for strait men. Its interesting psychological views on that amongst the many other valuable components of the show deserve big support from fans because some people many not be willing to try to give its unique premise as much of a chance as it deserves. I am really hoping for a second season and beyond for this show and its fans out there should write our praise of it to help that happen. The entertainment in this show brightens up my days sometimes and I appreciate its creation.
amo967 I really enjoy this show. I was reluctant at first because it seems like almost every time I like a show it ends up canceled. But the previews for this captured my attention. I really enjoy the combination of comedy, drama, and action. One thing I need to stress is that my husband is a little picky when it comes to TV and movies and he really likes this one too. It's one of the few shows we can watch together. For those who complain that it isn't realistic, watch the news if you want realism. This is fictional TV, meant to entertain, if you're being picky about things in it that aren't realistic, you're taking it too seriously. It's meant to be fun and it is. The two leads are perfectly suited to their roles and have a great on screen chemistry. I really hope there's a season 2!!!
scoup I know this show is supposed to be about 2 cops who have been partnered for 5 yrs (known for 7)and go to therapy together, but I get a heavy gay vibe even though they are straight. I don't care either way, but I keep expecting them to start kissing each other at any second.Big problem for me was the one cop firing his gun in broad daylight, outside a car dealership, next to the sidewalk and street with people and cars passing by – he shot at the wind balloon Gumby and said, "I hate that guy." This was directly after discharging his gun inside the dealership into a Lamborghini and white powdery drugs just flow out. But don't worry, they are too cool to report a car full of drugs with a street value of millions (I'm guessing) because they made a deal with the car salesman. Way too reckless and over the top.Oh, and their cop car is a Land Rover...Some aspects remind me of Royal Pains - and I can't stand that show on many levels.Glad to see "Penny" from Lost as well as Jack McGee from Rescue Me and Andrea Parker from The Pretender in the lineup. John Shea makes a guest appearance in the first episode.Overall it is OK. I will watch again hoping this show will hit its stride. My initial gut reaction…I'll be out by episode four.PS - Just changed rating from 3 down to 2. This whiny couples therapy thing is a bit much. The police woman (chief?) wants to fire them and the captain's response was that they are in therapy, it will be good for them, let's not fire them. Never happen in real life.
