Inmechon The movie's only flaw is also a virtue: It's jammed with characters, stories, warmth and laughs.
Gutsycurene Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
beth_2548 When I first started watching this, I was not that impressed because of the first few shows. However, I stuck with it and there were a lot of good points. I did not care for Stephanie's party girl personality at first, but as I watched further episodes I realized it tied in to where the show was headed. Stephanie mellowed out eventually and got back to her family values. She decided family was more important than anything else. I appreciated that. I really like how the house looks exactly the same as the 90s with modern improvements. However, I was confused at first at all the kids and chaos going on in the house, especially when joeys kids were on. Who's kids are whose and who's married and who's not? Liked how joeys kids are brats, this seems accurate. And I think DJ should decide once and for all between her men. Overall, good show. But I don't have kids, so I do to have to worry about what to censor.
cupcakemartini I started watching this a couple weeks ago. I do agree that some of the subject matter is 'adult', but in all honesty most young children have no idea what they're talking about. Watch any Disney movie, there are plenty of adult jokes that go right over kids' heads. My 6 year old loves the show, my 7 year old has zero interest in it. It's cheesy and corny just like the original. If you weren't a hardcore fan of the original Full House, you likely won't get into this series. Loses a star because some of the child acting (jokes etc) seems a little forced at times & DJ's voice can grate on your ears, she can get shrill and high pitched when excited...It's great to see Jodie Sweetin's life improving, she was certainly on a downhill spiral for quite some time. Hopefully this show keeps her grounded. Candace Cameron Bure looks freakin' amazing for being 42. Overall a great nostalgic 'feel good' show.
Memena90 So far not so good..."Fuller House" is an epic fail as a continuation of the Beloved "Full House". Lacks and REAL substance. The very essence of "Full House" has been massacred. Definitely NO LONGER family friendly, as there are explicit references to sex and drug use, exposure to homosexuality, inappropriate promiscuity (to be a "family" show), DJ dating two guys at the same time (terrible example for her so called children), the acting pails in comparison, and the list goes on. I've only watched half of season 1 but have seen enough. Total disappointment. Another cliche and typical modern sitcom, nothing like the 90's that demonstrated real life issues and how to properly address them and even how to not.
SaidNDone 'Fuller House' is a cheap and lazy cash in on the original 'Full House' brand. This is not a terrible thing, as you can tell the cast/crew are just having fun filming and no one involved in making the show takes it too seriously. In the first season, it all worked out, and you they produced something fun to watch ironically (S1 was bad, but it was all tongue-in-cheek). However, by S2 and S3 the small effort put into S1 dissipates and the show slips into unwatchable territory. The cast, you can tell, is still having fun (getting paychecks to basically hang out in-front of a camera for 20 minutes). But, the show is so boring, lazy, and unfunny that it's hard to stay awake, even for the truncated 25 minute episodes of S3. In-fact the dialogue in S2-S3 is so inane, I wouldn't be surprised if everything was improv.
