CheerupSilver Very Cool!!!

Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
Rose This show was so hilarious and fun to watch, so extremely creative and such a vast difference from crap like sam and cat. It was so funny, with interesting characters. It was one of the only sitcoms on YTV that flowed smoothly, was coordinated, well-made, well- edited, proper dialogues chosen, characters acting well, etc. It's shocking how stupid the sitcoms now look, with choppy and homemade like scenes. However, after getting older, I realized how many DISGUSTING, FILTHY, PEVERTED shi* is full in this show. First of all, 'female undergarments' are not 'funny' in any manner and is disgustingly inappropriate to show them floating around in the air or referring to them constantly. Many other disgusting, repulsive parts that one want to puke show up many times. Carly says she's getting 'curves' and the repulsive reaction freddy has is unbearably disgusting. This filthy, scummish obsession with female body parts and undergarments in this entire show is really vulgar and outright ban-worthy. It's shocking how filthy like that even airs or how no one objects. But it's the western world, after all and without garbage there is no show.
Andrew Vandenberg I will say I did watch icarly for a while, mainly because it came out when I was in the 5th grade, and it had the chick from drake and josh. And, to be 100% honest, I liked the first 2 seasons. But as the show went on, it started to get more dramaish, with Sam kissing Freddy and all. While It did have some jokes that work, it mostly came off as unfunny. Another big problem I have is how mean spirited this show is. Freddy is always the victim of mistreatment is a prime example of that. But one of the biggest frustrations was the laugh track being played at moments that weren't meant to be funny. My consensus, its a hit and miss(mostly miss) Dan Schneider show with some good jokes.
sachin030796 Once upon a time, there were two really annoying girls from Seattle who recorded some stupid video and randomly became famous. So the first girl, Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) decides to go to her artistic brother Spencer (Jerry Trainor) to use a spare room in an enormous apartment as a studio - because retarded artists earn that much money to have a three-story flat without parental supervision - and her geeky neighbour Freddie (Nathan Kress) to record a show for her and her best friend, Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy). There are several problems in this show. Firstly the number of sexual references throughout the show is ridiculous. The producer needs to be aware of the audience they are filming for. Even though most children will not acknowledge the references, some might. Secondly, the show seems to encourage a hierarchy of power with the characters. As there is no parental supervision, the children (and Spencer, who practically is a child) seem to believe they can do what they want. One character in particular, Sam Puckett, is often violent and rude, especially to Freddie. This seems to encourage bullying in children who are watching the show. Thirdly, there is too much repetition on the topics of the characters - Sam is always hungry, Spencer sets everything on fire, Carly is always self-obsessed, and Freddie is always in love with one of the girls. The laughter prompt is used too often, or when there are jokes that aren't funny. The characters seem to make more noise than expected. The series introduces new characters throughout the show - one in particular is called Gibby. For some reason, Dan Schneider believes it is acceptable for this character (who is relatively fat) to take his shirt off multiple times for no reason. Let us not forget that not only is it highly inappropriate, but they live in Seattle, where it is not a suitable temperature to take a shirt off.The show also has some good aspects. For example, the over-the-top drama and acting is hilarious - probably funnier than the show itself - and the idea of the show is interesting. It is a bit disappointing however, that the co-host of the show Sam does not have her name included in the name iCarly. The use of character throughout the show is good as well - Freddie only gets geekier throughout the show despite the mocking from other characters. Jerry Trainor is the best actor because of his character. A guardian who is too irresponsible to look after a teenager, an aspiring artist with practically unlimited funding with the tendency to make mistakes, and a real role model for Carly to chase her dreams. There is evidence to suggest that he was intelligent enough to become a lawyer, but he was more interested in art. He gives the moral to the audience that you should take care of family/friends, perseverance etc.Overall, the show probably should not have been aired for 6 seasons and 1 movie. There were two many problems that are easily removed. Unfortunately the bad acting is only because of inexperienced actors & directors, and that is not at the fault of the show.
SanteeFats I started watching iCarly in the middle of season 3 or 4. I found the show to be nonsensically funny. While the Sam character has reasons to be so mean there are times where she goes way overboard in my opinion. Of course this can be attributed to teen age hormones running rampant I suppose. Freddy is the only real reason they have a web show from what I can tell. Without his tech knowledge it doesn't seem as if there could be a broadcast. What's with Gibby and pulling his shirt off all the time? He sure ain't purty to look at with a shirt on. Carly is a warm hearted cutie who appears to only see the best in most people she runs into. Although she will go after a really bad one. The brother is a bit off center but he is an artist. How they earn income is never addressed. The brother sells a piece from time to time but where does the money come from for all the monthly expenses? Maybe daddy colonel? I find this show to be funny and at times it actually seems to address some aspects of teenage angst and growing pains. (With Sam around actual pain too, the butter sock is cool but wouldn't it start to drip or squish out when it warmed up)? Freddy's mom is even more off center than the brother. How Freddy turned out fairly normal with her around is a credit to the writers.
