Detective Inspector Eva Thörnblad returns to Silver Height seven years after her daughter Josefine disappeared by a lake in the woods. The body was never found and the girl was believed to have drowned. Now a boy has vanished without a trace and Thörnblad wants to find out if there is a link to her daughter's disappearance. At the same time , she will take care of the legacy of her father, the great entrepreneur Johan Thörnblad, who built an empire of timber and timber processing on the large forest owned by his ancestors. As the plot deepens more children are kidnapped and what initially seems like a police drama takes a more sinister and stranger twist with each episode.

Jordskott Audience Reviews

Wordiezett So much average
Grimerlana Plenty to Like, Plenty to Dislike
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
ddff-38000 Apart from the fact that being a mother according to Jordskott means loosing your mind and act constantly without rationality there is definitely a lack of figures with whom you are able to sympathize. For several seasons the evil murderer it definitely the best figure. I don't feel motivated to actually think about that thingy, but i feel motivated to warn you: Don't waste that much time, really much to much time, consuming this nerve crushing product. Look instead at the walls of your room and enjoy the silence. Or speak with the plants in your room, that is surely more interesting and less annoying. Your really want to burn down that forest and the village...
Vickity_Boo Jordskott, at first I thought it was a detective drama and my flatmate was very quick to dismiss it because of the subtitles. My advice, stick with it! I continued to watch it and found myself watching each episode twice.Yes, it's a detective drama, but it's also a supernatural/fantasy story, one with a slightly disturbing underlying story - fantastic filming and acting, with a story that keeps you guessing right till the end.Well worth a watch, the story doesn't drag and it'll open you up to more European dramas - you've just got to learn to read and watch at the same time :)
kristinaysmith Had high hopes for Jordskott but unfortunately definitely not my kind of thing. Was hoping for a thrilling, suspenseful realistic TV programme and was disappointed when things started getting mythical. I lasted till halfway through episode 4, but as soon as there started to be "monsters" posing as humans I decided I couldn't justify wasting another 6 hours of my life finishing the series. It was definitely cleverly done and I actually thought some parts were really creepy. i'm sure many people would like it. But if you're like me and prefer non mythical and realistic things I suggest you give this one a miss.
Ciro Alves This series feels like a child wrote it while playing "Thieves". Story holes everywhere, continuation mess ups and bad acting. I'm used to great series by Swedish writers, this one is not one of them. Save yourself some time and don't watch this. The series had great potential considering all the mystical and somewhat paranormal background it's based on but the writing just didn't cut it. Nor did the cast for that matter. I was hoping for something in the quality of the Millennium trilogy but this is not one of the series that can even dream to reach such heights. I hope there's someone that can take this concept and re-write it in a way that makes it possible to watch without laughing all the way through it. Maybe that's the thing, this is a comedy and I didn't understand that.
