Motive Audience Reviews

Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Ken Sailer what an absolutely terrible show typical Canadian crap, and would somebody teach that woman how to do her hair she looks bloody awful. He can act either matter fact not many of them can act at all. Very easy to see why it's being canceled they use it as filler when not that many people are watching TV. It's almost as bad as a rookie blue if that's at all possible in God knows how many other programs I just can't quite think of off the top of my head the Canadian. They must be taking lessons from ABC network which puts out some really bad stuff like that new program Uncle Buck whoever thought up that idea should be shot. I really don't know where they get some of the actors for these programs but I think they should be a little more picky.
thelmabowen I love this genre and look forward to new episodes. I have to admit the overly made-up actresses, including Kristen Lehman, make the show less believable. Kristen Lehman has thick false eyelashes, heavy eye shadow, thick matte red lipstick on every episode looking like she is going out to a club rather than a hard working police detective with a teen-age son. Very distracting and unbelievable! I noticed the same trend, though, on female guest starts who are playing grief stricken wives or killers trying not to get caught. The make-up does not fit the role. Who would take the time for this on a daily basis in real life? Let's put more realism in to a show that has great potential.
barrywilliams993 I just watched "Crimes of Passion". Meh . . .That's all I can muster for this "twisted" cop show where we find out the killer and the victim first thing and have to wait for the motive. There is where the problem is for me. You see, the motive comes in too early so the last 10 minutes of the show are a drag. I mean, the suspense is gone.Based on that episode and the poor reviews the show is getting, I predict that ABC will be looking for something else for this time slot before the summer is over. There was a glaring plot hole in this episode for me. The killer uses the boyfriend's car to murder the girl. The cops find this out early on but the boyfriend seems to be unaware of the death of the girlfriend so not really viable as the killer. However, the cops never pull the security footage from the garage. If they had, we'd have gotten the motive even sooner and would've needed to sit through even more boring "who cares".No thanks. I'll watch reruns of Columbo. Hey! There's an idea! What about a remake of that gem? Now, who to cast as Columbo . . .
cincypanda Tempo of the story seemed good but the background sound often overpowered the dialog. Even after I worked on my sound frequency balance. I would have been totally lost without closed caption turned on. The sound on commercials were no problem to understand so the sound mixing or dubbing for the show appears to be the problem and needs to be corrected for future episodes to be enjoyable. The characters seemed to be believable in their rolls. It was refreshing to have the autopsy be shown in a simple way instead of all the specialized graphics showing blood pulsing through veins or specialized machines doing the work being done in minutes when it takes weeks to get results from most labs. I am not squeamish, and in fact enjoy the scientific detail when it is pertinent to the show, but it is all too often a distraction to the story line.
