Produced by Danmarks Radio, the program aired 32 episodes spanning four seasons from 2000 to 2004. Each episode revolved around an elite mobile police task force called "Unit One" that travels around Denmark helping local police solve crimes. Unit One Audience Reviews

Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
akyhne First time watching this series, despite being from Denmark.I think what I like and what other people seems to like but may not know, is that all the cases are from real life police work, by the special Danish task Rejseholdet. And AFAIK, Rejseholdet operates in much the same way IRL. Only the persons and their personal lives are fictional.I've only watched 7 episodes so far, but I'm already hooked. A few episodes haven't been so exiting, but I prefer reality over fiction in this case. There are a few minor issues, like I'm not sure it was possible to do DNA tests this quick in the 90's. But then again, each episode needs to function on a time line for TV.The series is a lot more Sherlock Holmes than action, of which there's very little of. And then again cases are not solved as unrealistic as in CSI etc. It's a quiet kind of slow speed detective series.
Kirsten Hawkes This is a wonderful series and leaves the US ones for dead (except maybe NYPD Blue)..more in the style of UK cop shows, I guess. This really is a beaut show.. and the blokes ARE worth looking at. I admire the actress that plays Ingrid too, she is amazing.! good work guys.. us Aussies are enjoying the show just now (Oct 2005) I was born in Denmark and so can understand Danish, and I have to admit that the subtitles could be a tad more accurate, for example, with times (8.25 not 8.23) etc but my husband says he understands it and thoroughly enjoys the show.. it says that the stories are based on true crimes in Denmark.. if thats the case.. then it seems that Denmark is the place to be to commit murder as they seem to get off VERY lightly!! Sometimes only a suspended sentence! The show truly is wonderful and I so look forward to seeing it. I have not had time to search to see how long the series does actually run for, but here in Australia, we have only just got it. Love the show. and love that other show about the father in law of Denmark too!!
Soeren Moeller This 32 part series is definitely a step up in Danish TV-making, there is nothing to complain about, the series is always on the cutting edged of the technology, and the viewers sitting on the ledge of their chairs. Finally a key element is that all the cases are adapted from real life situations, and non fictional characters and events. It starts out with a woman getting appointed head of the task force called "Rejseholdet" (who exist in real life) – the basically are the best of the best inside the Danish police (regarding killings and murders). And from then on a group of special trained police officers travel the Danish countryside catching criminals 32 times; some episodes are in fact double episodes or connected in other ways.
bomandersen A great danish show, I like it, but it has some weak aspects. The acting is VERY bad. Sometimes I have to turn my eyes away because of the extremely bad acting. Especially Lars Bom is terrible. It's a very cool series. Very US-like, and that is not all bad.
