Megamind To all those who have watched it: I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.
Chasidy Rader This is an awesome show. I can't wait for a season 2! This show has an amazing cast with great chemistry! Watch this if you want to laugh, smile, and just have a good old time. They have fun stories and it's written from the same people that did Pitch Perfect, so it's cool to see a list of actors from the movie. The writing of the show is well done. I really like all the humor and jokes they do. We watched all the episodes in two days because it was really good. This is one of my new favorite shows on Hulu! I also love the names of the characters too. I look forward to more laughs with these characters. Seriously, go watch it! It's awesome!
jwt5892 I was excited to see the appearance of this show on Hulu. I immediately thought of shows like Undeclared and the National Lampoon's college movies. I watched all of it within a couple of days and it got a bit better with time. At first I didn't think it was all that funny and there were only a few laugh out loud moments. But I like the main cast, including the newcomers enough to hope for a second season. The writing wasn't very original but it still kept my attention. 7 episodes seemed like enough and if you watch all of them the back story from previous episodes pays off in the final episode. To Micah the one star reviewer: It sounds like you were expecting a documentary from a fictional comedy show. I got quite a laugh and felt a bit bad at the same time. Seeing that you watch a comedy series about resident advisors and expect it to be strictly by the book made me wonder what else you may have given poor reviews based on lack of authenticity. Of course they weren't writing this with a true story in mind. It wouldn't have been funny in the slightest. At first I thought you were joking until I continued reading. Do all fictional comedies enrage you? Especially the ones about college? I sure hope not because that seems really sad.
mdbussmann Dear Micah,Your REVIEW of this show is atrocious, not the show itself. "Resident Advisors" is not a representative of actual RA life? No sh*t. Its a sitcom with a refreshing perspective on college life. You sound like a miserable RA that would rat on every student trying to have fun at your depressing Northern Arizona University. Get a sense of humor and try to imagine yourself with a woman like Jamie Chung, but of course we know that you would never have a chance with a girl like that in real life because you have the sense of humor of a piece of cork board like the one you stick your pathetic floor rules to (no wonder why those kids tear it down). If you think your "job", which is really only a step up from a babysitting, is so challenging I can't wait for you to get a real job. Anyways, this show is great and can't wait for season 2! Best of luck to the cast and crew!
Micah Hager I just watched the first episode of "Resident Advisors" and while I realize that many shows have a shaky Pilot episode, I have to say that I am thoroughly disgusted. The entire time I watched this episode I was cringing; this show should be used as a form of torture to weed out the bad RA's during the RA class/training. RA's dealing drugs and trying to sleep with residents/their hall directors? This show is not representative of actual RA life and I would discourage anyone from giving it views. Get this show cancelled; my job is hard enough to explain as it is. The worst part I have to say, is the mockery of the richness of diversity in actual residence life communities; mocking transgender individuals is actually really disgusting and I thought this show looked a little more grown up than that. The Resident Assistant/Adviser position is extremely challenging and honestly if you decide to watch this horrible show you should keep in mind that the people producing this probably never even worked as RAs... they were probably the ones who tore our stuff down in the hallways and kept getting caught drinking underage. Positive about the show: I can appreciate that the show makes no effort to hide the craziness of the incidents that we deal with on a daily basis. The only reason I am writing this much is because IMDb requires 10 lines of text. I have nothing more to say about this show.
