Something in the Air Audience Reviews

Plantiana Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.

Konterr Brilliant and touching
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
John (opsbooks) Probably the best of its type made (small Australian country town, the life, loves and dramas of the locals and the blow-ins), 'Something in the Air' gave us something to look forward to on local television in Australia during 2000 - 2002. The town of Emu Springs survives thanks to its local radio station (to which the title pays homage) and a band of loyal locals, most of whom seem to be members of 'The Emus', the local footie (Australian Rules Football) team. You can find full details at the official web site on ABC Television which thankfully has kept the site up and running despite the demise of the series.
newperspectives An excellent blend of country humor and human dynamics.Great acting, from seasoned veterans as well as relative newcomers. Ray Barrett is superb, Colin Moody plays the part of the self confident, arrogant Sydney radio jock admirably, allowing the occasional glimpse of underlying insecurity and doubt.
