Tyler R. Jenkins (born November 20th, 2002) is a non-binary trumpet player, composer, and filmmaker. Ever since they slithered out of their mother's womb 20 years ago, Tyler has had the knack for sound. Joining their high school's nationally ranked jazz band and jazz choir paved the way for their miraculous journey to Berklee College of Music in the land of Bostopia. At Berklee, they are members of the Jewish Student Organization and the Sexuality and Gender Alliance. Jenkins' composition style comprises of many instrument layers, unusual grooves, and elements of a capella music. Their bands have opened for Victor Wooten, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, and more. They have worked with Wayne Bergeron (The Incredibles, West Side Story), and Insaneintherainmusic, a frequent collaborator of Jenkins. They have directed several short films, being accepted into film festivals on the West Coast. Tyler R. Jenkins is best known for writing and directing their upcoming film Full Transparency.
