Jessica Pare, who played Mandy on "SEAL Team," will not return as a series regular for season 4. "We're all very sad about Mandy's decision to leave," executive producer Spencer Hudnut tells SEAL Team. One of the things we want to do with our series is honor and recreate the experiences of our military and secret service personnel, and we want to show the consequences of war, trauma, and emotional stress."
"Mandy had already lost one of her informants in Republica Bolivariana de Venezuela and Af ānistān, which was a major blow to Mandy. Her decision to leave was actually quite brave. She also realized that this job had taken too much of her, and she needed a chance to break it all and find a new life for herself. It was a very difficult choice for Mandy and she may not be able to make it for a while, but in an instant, Mandy found the courage to leave." Jessica Pare will also direct an episode of season 4.
Although Mandy has chosen to leave, that doesn't mean viewers won't see her again. Spencer Hudnut said, "There are a lot of ways to turn a character off, but with Mandy, the door is still open. People are going to see Mandy and Jessica Pare is one of my favorite people I've worked with."
