Amazon's Lord of the Rings has unveiled the first pictures of the series, which is set to premiere on September 2, 2022. More pictures have been released of the film, including director Juan Antonio Bayana (Jurassic World: Part 2).
With a total budget of $1 billion, it is one of the most expensive TV shows in history. The story takes place thousands of years before the movie version, with one episode per week starting September 2 next year.
