Oscar Nominations of 2018

Oscar nominations for the 2018 90th annual awards were announced on Tuesday morning from the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif. The supernatural sci-fi romance The Shape of Water leads with impressive 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actress for star Sally Hawkins, and Best Director for del Toro himself. Besides. “Dunkirk” followed behind with eight nods and Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”with seven. All three films earned best picture nominations. The rest of the category was rounded out by “Call Me By Your Name,” “Darkest Hour,” “Get Out,” “Phantom Thread,” “Lady Bird,” and “The Post.”
