11:14 Audience Reviews

Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
SunnyHello Nice effects though.
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
srdjan_veljkovic The movie is entertaining. It is funny at times, but not very much and not many times. But, that's not its main purpose. The main purpose is to show a way that many lives that are loosely connected can "crash" into each other under specific circumstances. It's not very likely to happen (some of it much less likely than the rest), of course, but it's not impossible. The story flows nicely, even though the main point is to tell the same story five times, which could have ended up feeling very repetitive. There are no significant plot holes, actors are doing their job good enough, as is the director and pretty much everyone else involved, and having enough funny parts spread out through the movie, all that combined makes watching this an entertaining experience. But, there's nothing really special here. There's not much quality in the story, except entertainment. Actually some elements of the story, while entertaining in this particular context, are pretty low quality, like what a (open car) window is supposed to be able to do to a boy (who sticks his body parts through it) and what are the consequences to said boy. The acting is nothing special, neither is directing in some way interesting or inspired. It's one of those movies to watch, enjoy and move on. Which is quite alright.
dianefhlbsch It has often been said that all of our lives are interconnected. Nine people's lives are linked together at the same moment in time, all with life changing results. This film actually has no plot, but rather details the actions of all of the nine people leading up to that fated moment and shortly after. Interestingly, it is all about the freak timing and some very stupid or cruel choices that people make. Sometimes those ill-thought out actions can have devastating results. While this film does not fall under the heading of "enjoyable evening of entertainment" for me, it is a MUST see film for teenagers and their parents. It is not preachy, but very matter-of-fact blunt. Actions do have reactions, as well as consequences. There is also a difference between "harmless fun" and "stupidly dangerous".
Rodrigo Amaro All the characters of "11:14" are connected with each other by three common things: 1) unusual accidents, 2) confusions with car keys and 3) the hour 11:14, night time. This twisted dark humored comedy reveals that things are unpredictable and strangely funny, but this can only work perfectly if 1) you've never seen so many films in your life or 2) you have a great sense of humor to all kinds of things no matter how painful or strange as it might seem.Henry Thomas, Rachael Leigh Cook, Hilary Swank, Shawn Hatosy, Ben Foster, Patrick Swayze, Colin Hanks, Barbara Hershey, Clark Gregg and others play the characters connected by strange accidents and they try to get out of the hurly-burly, making mistakes, making their worst to avoid problems and creating other problems. It goes from car crashes, a corpse falling off a bridge, a man throwing this same corpse off a bridge, an amputated sexual organ during a accident after a failed prank and it goes on and on. The story is told in multiple reverse moments, we see some of the situations over and over again to understand what really happened to all these characters. There's nothing left to say about "11:14" except that the writer must have a great sense of humor in creating all these situations, although one or two things are very predictable (the guy in the cemetery, I knew it what was about to happen). But there's nothing more than just nervous laughs in the film, no message, it's just good because it knows how to bring curiosity out of the viewers and it is funny. with some nice performances by the already mentioned casting. It is the perfect film when you don't have patience to do anything, when things are not so great in your life or whatever, just watch it, it'll bring some help, some smiles and it's good to pass the time. Don't take it so seriously or you'll miss the fun. 8/10
chucknorrisfacts "11:14" is a weird little movie but a good one. It's about a seemingly unconnected group of people whose lives all converge on one another's at approximately 11:14 p.m.I actually liked the movie a lot, but whoever chose the music for the movie did a pretty crappy job, in my opinion, because it makes scenes that would've otherwise felt very suspenseful come across as a little comical, which I think is totally the wrong tone for a movie of this type. The cast is quite good and everybody turns in good performances. There are actually quite a few big names in this movie, which surprisingly didn't lend itself to being a more well known movie than it is, which, suffice it to say, not many people have probably even heard of it.I would recommend checking it out. It's probably not for everybody, but I thought it was really good. I would recommend watching it at nighttime because I think the ambiance helps the enjoyment of the movie. It would seem like sort of an odd movie to watch in the middle of the day, I think.
