Almelund Audience Reviews

SunnyHello Nice effects though.
Listonixio Fresh and Exciting
Micransix Crappy film
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
tjvotel I rented this movie from the video store in Chisago City, Minnesota, about 25 miles directly south of Almelund, which may be the only place on the planet to find it. It must have been made by college students as a project, so the budget is beyond low. That being said, it is so 'campy' that it makes you look past the bad acting, and the jaunty pacing, all the way to the surprise ending. Well worth the $2 rental fee. What prompted me to write this review, is that there is a movie airing right now on The Animal Planet called "Willow Creek", which so far is following the plot line of Almelund, and what makes this movie work, is the plot, which never really aims directly at it's intent, and the cast of quirky and memorable characters. Enjoy!
Darwinskid A group of friends go on a quest to find Bigfoot with their hand-held camera. This movie may sound like some Blair witch/horror filled kind of movie, but it actually isn't. I would know because I am good friends with the director of this movie, he has told me a few times that making a horror film wasn't of his intentions. However I would still call it a mystery/suspense film, both of which are sub genres to horror.Almelund is very entertaining and has a selection of fun characters that move the plot forward.I won't give away any spoilers, but I will say that the ending to the film has a pretty surprising twist to it.Me and my father were both invited to the premiere of this film and we both had a good time with it.This is Jeff's first and last film, for his first try I have to say he pulled it off solidly. Wish he pursued the career of film-making further.Jeff, or if anyone associated with the project, if you are reading this you all did a fantastic job on this project, I give you all my respect and best wishes for the long run.Peace.7/10.
f-slocum **************!the film is about a few friends who discover one of the most biggest mystery's of all time, Big Foot. it brings the kind of suspense and mystery like what if the point of the blair witch project was finding Big foot, it also has the kind of comedy you see in Beavis and Butt-head, it also has great music and has great videos and it has a surprising ending, I went to the premiere the director is a friend of mine, I have seen the future of the next Sam raimi,George lucas, brian singer, and steven spielberg and his name is Jeff Green(the director).brian singer(director of X-men, and superman returns) says he likes the idea.
