In Cameron, a group of hunters is attacked by a wild animal, and Charlie Cowley survives, but sees his brother Scott dying. Seven years later, his teenage nephew Derek Cowley steals the key of his stepfather's cabin in the isolated Fire Road 13, and travels with four classmates and his friend Sam to spend the weekend having a party with booze and sex. However, they are attacked by a Beast that kills his friends in a sadistic way. Sam and Derek survive, and they suspect that his stepfather, Mitchell Toblat, is a werewolf. When Charlie meets Derek and Sam, they decide to collect evidence to prove that Mitchell is the Beast and kill him, but Mitchell discovers their plot and chases the trio.

Big Bad Wolf Audience Reviews

Ehirerapp Waste of time
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Michael Ledo In the opening scene we get to see Derek's dad (Andrew Bowen) get his leg ripped off by a werewolf. Seven years later, mom (Sarah Aldrich) has remarried to Mitchell (Richard Tyson). Derek is pledging a fraternity, one that has him take his biker chick friend Samantha (Kimberly J. Brown) to the proverbial cabin in the woods with two movie typical college couples. We already know it is a werewolf coming at us, no need to guess or a spinner. What we do find out is that this werewolf speaks, spouting out those "Freddie-esque" one liners. The film is linear with no twists. Derek (Trevor Duke-Moretz) was a very straight character and outside of some moments by Samantha, the characters were drab. Her relationship with Derek is, "I care about you more than any man I ever slept with."The film has some good scenes such as the opening sequence when the guide announced, "We are being hunted." Unfortunately they didn't stretch out the good scenes.Parental Guide: F-bomb, sex, nudity (Shannon Malone, Robin Sydney)
gpeltz Oh yes folks, It walks and it talk's and it will blow your house down. Yes, I'm talking about, "Big Bad Wolf" (2006) Written and Directed by Lance W Dreesen. I don't remember it being released nine years back. Spoiler Alert, ahead, if you want to check out the move, and wonder if you should, allow me to answer; If you like werewolf movies, chock full of graphic bloody effects, this might appeal to you, Are their any redeeming values? I thought so,Underneath all the horror/Slasher/Werewolf trappings, there was a tongue in cheek aspect that gave the film any wit it might have. The large and varied cast, are all lambs, led to the slaughter. Leading the lineup is our Teenage hero named Derek, played by Trevor Duke-Moretz . His chopper ridding, auto mechanic loner, girlfriend named Sam, is played by Kimberly Brown. The wicked stepfather here is played by Richard Tyson, The remainder of the large cast are for the most part, disposed of. For a lone werewolf killing spree, this one has a high body count. Bloody as they were designed to be, there was always an air of dispersion of belief, particularly when the Monster starts cracking wise. That's right, a Wild and Woolly, Big Bad Wolf, (as in "Who's Afraid of?" and "the hair of your chinney chin chin".) A paradox is set in play, The Stepfather is the monster, and we are watching "Dr. Hyde, and Mr Wolfman" Monster by day, Monster by moonlight, or any other time it seems. Why Derick's poor suffering mother played by Sarah Aldrich hooked up with this guy is a literary mystery.Horror movie conventions are played with by the Director; Take the horror movie cliché, noting how Black actors get knocked off first. Take note, it happens here within the first fifteen seconds, folks.! and from within the clichés' emerges unexpected originality. Expect lowbrow humor and some nudity, add some implied sex and buckets of prosthetic violence, and we have a great teen movie. Good sound, Music, Editing and all technical issues, refreshingly good for a your tube viewing. Seven and a half out of Ten, "you get what you expect" stars.
PALADIN12640 For years I have avoided teen slasher movies. I must not have read the jacket, bought this movie and thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't think I could say anyone but a child would be scared by this movie, like say Dog Soldiers was "scary", but it definitely had some tense moments. And it was funny. A rare combination in the movies I watch. I will definitely recommend this one movie to those who don't watch teen slasher movies. Only nine of ten for the makeup/CGI and the criminal under use of Clint Howard. I think any movie he's in is made better by his being in said movie. And those scenes at the cabin before "Wolfie showed up: ah, sweet memories of youth.
oliviu2009 Though I wouldn't expect it at all, this was indeed a good movie. It has his problems (the teenagers are annoying as always, the dialoguse have major problems and the werewolf is not done very good), but you can surely pass over. The very good points: 1. The werewolf is quite crazy. He tears apart his victims, he IS a beast. 2. The werewolf is talking! This is ingenious indeed, I never saw it before, and I saw a lot of werewolf movies. You may think at first it is inappropriate, but I assure you the effect overall is very good. 3. There are pleasant nudity scenes, great tits, and the werewolf even rapes one of the teengirls in her perfect ass, in front of her boyfriend. While rather disturbing, the scene is quite good and adds to the story. 4. The atmosphere is nicely done, quite dark, quite 80's and there IS suspense. I am surely recommend the movie as one of the few werewolf movies made good in the last decades, with Ginger Snaps Unleashed and Dog Soldiers being other two examples in the same vein.
