Will Curtin Cars was the first ever movie i saw in cinemas. and i loved it, i am surprised that the movie only got a 7.1 because to me i would think it would be in the 8's with all the other classic movies like toy story, the lion king, inside out and the Incredibles. lightning McQueen is a character everyone knows, the movie shows that everyone looks up to him as the cool guy, but really his just some selfish guy with no friends. lighting gets shown the meaning of friendship. and gets shown good sportsmanship which you will see at the end of the movie

cute_kinda Wow! Pixer has done it again!. Im 16 and still love Cars I'm obsessed with it!. Its brilliant! The storyline gives a positive message and all the characters have great personality's. The animation and scenery is amazing especially route 66 the town the visuals of the racing etc.. and when Mcqueen and sally go for a drive. The voice actors are great in this film such as Paul Newman,Owen Wilson etc..Spoilers! So the story is about when a cocky rookie racer lightning McQueen 95 (Owen Wilson) is in the Piston cup. Mcqueen after the race ends up stranded in a town called Route 66. He meets Mater (Larry the cable guy. Doc Hudson (Paul Newman) and other fun characters like Sally (Bonnie Hunt) Ramone (Cheech Marin) Flo (Jennefer Lewis). Luigi and Guido (Tony Shaloub) (Quido quartroni) and other great Characters!. Not forgetting Chick Hicks McQueen's cocky rival (Micheal Keaton)I give this film a 10 out of 10 because its just great and i love how they get real racing cameos into the film such as Richard Petty The King 43, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Etc... If you know racing Nascar etc.. you would know. Also the tractor tipping sense is so funny! And maters puns etc... Paul Newman's acting is great! And some of the adult jokes! This film deserves a 10 out of 10! In my opinion its a fanstasic movie for kids and adults. Watch it! Its one of my favourites!

Hitchcoc This is just a load of animated fun. Our dearest possessions, our cars, are made anthropomorphic, and take on the personalities of their functions. The old tow truck, voiced by Larry the Cable Guy, is my favorite character, and he functions as the voice of the drawling hick. The sports car is reckless and unpredictable. Of course, vehicles of law enforcement have their own way of acting as well. So the creators have put together an entire subculture where these vehicles are the stars. It sounds silly until we begin to be engaged in their roles. There are protagonists, antagonists, characters of comic relief, just like any movie, animated or not. Pixar has masterfully connected what would have been flat animated images and brought them to life. I'm not much of a car fancier, but this one still got me. There's adventure, romance, and a race. What else could we want?

Cars is a very fantastic, sweet and entertaining family friendly animation that will win both kids and their parents for it's characters alone characters such as Lightning McQueen, Mater, Sally Carrera and late actor Paul Newman as Doc Hudson who is easily the best part of the movie since not only he brings McQueen back in action but he makes him see what really matters which is friendship and love. The big bad guy is played by Batman himself Michael Keaton voices Chick Hicks. Cars is not in the same league as Toy Story sure but it's a very sweet film that truly shows why friendship truly matters more than some stupid awards 10/10.
