Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' Audience Reviews

Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Micitype Pretty Good
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
nivlugassi Such lazy imagination, this was the most hyped Dragon Ball movie ever and all we got was some B rate story to lure kids to join the fandom and on the way making money by selling toys. The only thing that was good about it was the opportunity to show more details about Frieza's Army and the Animation. Here are my thoughts about this movie from my blog (no need to Copy+Paste it all here): The major issue I had was with the casting: how on Earth did Toriyama suddenly placed the weak pervert, Master Roshi, above Yamcha & Chiaotzu? Why Goten and Trunks didn't made an appearance? http://nivlugassiarts.blogspot.co.il/2016/08/ Search for the Yamcha & Chiaotzu post.Another issue that I have was why hyping Tagoma so much on the poster if he was going to die 10 minutes into the film? What about Frieza's ridiculous power boost by just training for 4 months? So he could have taken Majin Buu, whom he used to fear all his life, so pathetically easy if he'd just shoot holes through Zarbon or punching Dodoria for 4 months straight? What a lame excuse for rehashing a character, I'd rather having a new character/villain introduced to the franchise - who was always this crazy level strong - over Frieza every few pieces of the franchise.http://nivlugassiarts.blogspot.co.il/2016/12/my-suggestions-to-how- resurrection-f
Enrique Silva I tried to remember the previous film "battle of the gods" and hoped for the same Goku that this second part was far better than the first, not because it was bad, but that left a lot to be desired. The first few minutes of the film can leave mixed views, but if i may ask, the beginning of the resurrection of Freezer i was sad ... i got to thinking aloud is this Dragon Ball Z? Don't I typed the wrong room? The scene "SPOILER (duh)" develops in a field full of butterflies and teddy bears that sing and dance with a single purpose: torturing Freezer with its tenderness. After this, yeah, the film feels like Dragon Ball, although more children. Something that he lacked a "battle of the gods" was these incredible scenes of action that the series we had become accustomed, but right now, at this second, the action is there and respects the style of the original series, there are quite a few action sequences very good and fun. Something that is very much appreciated is that the secondary characters have more participation in the first only Goku shines throughout the film, characters like Gohan, Piccolo or Krilin have their moments, the battle against the army was entertaining and each character could not shine for a few minutes. Now in regard to the animation (combined with 2D and 3D) fails on some occasions (Rendering slow, characters frozen or poorly animated) This is note too in one of the great battles of this film (the fight against the army of Freezer) i suppose that so many characters exposed in a screen, the computer that made this scene was about to explode. The script is without a doubt the weakest of the film, is dumb and painful in some moments. Jokes forced, dialogs without any sense and little logical for the environment (imagine a training dialog with jokes and laughter between Goku and Gohan when in front of them is Freezer and his army and are on the verge of attack) the script is bad, the argument sometimes fails and becomes tedious, there is no rotation of nut, there is nothing, the film feels flat, without emotions. In conclusion, Dragon Ball Z: The resurrection of Freezer is probably best that the "battle of the Gods" in a matter of the action scenes, but makes the same mistakes that its predecessor (a dash poor and a narrative weak) probably fans are welcome, but for a public that unknown this saga, it is better to move away from this movie.
filip-pennsater (spoiler alert, warning readers) The power of the fighters is so retarded, piccolo, gohan (and a few weaker persons like krillin) had problem dealing with a couple thousands of ordinary people fighting for frieza. Son goku got oneshotted by an ordinary alien mini gun WHILE HE WAS IN GODFORM, WTF! It's like the producer just wanted to drag out the fighting-scenes and make team goku be more vulnerable than they are. Over all the fight-scenes were good and the movie somewhat funny time to time, but the script a HUGE letdown for true dragonball fans who care about the powerset characters have. The movie before this one was amazing 10/10... how could they make such an awful sequel??
secretzfan You know I adored Battle of Gods as being DBZ's first time in a long time doing something smart and shocking with the property. So I must say that Freeza's resurrection doesn't do anything for me. Instead it tries to be a fun film that plays to the needs of the traditional DBZ fans who just want to see things blow up. Which is fun if you are like me and are a male then you also probably had a good time with this film. It was a really great and entertaining ride from beginning to end, and is very deserving even if it wasn't like Battle of Gods or something. It created a fun and immerse time to go to the theater and enjoy ourselves.
