Eating Out: Drama Camp Audience Reviews

TinsHeadline Touches You
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
this isnt my name nameless Guys please read this review OK I hav heard all the criticism n I agree with almost all. Starting with ,its a comedy deprived movie, yes I agree it isn't as much funny as eating out all you can. In fact I wouldn't hesitate to admit it isn't funny at all but that doesn't mean that its boring.. its a very charming movie.. I am biggest tiffiny fan and almost everyone will agree that 3 part of series is the best because of tiffiny and that factor is missing in this part and in last one also ( open weekend). So yes director of this movie is an idiot or must hav left his brain somewhere else wen he was directing this movie. Yes this movie is homoerotic movie. And lastly may be you will find make over of crew highly disappointing. But I wouldn't completely agree to this one. In fact I believe deniel( casey) has improved a lot. Now some positive part. The theme of this movie is amazing! !!! Its very romantic with Shakespeare touch to it... OK many guys find the ending of movie ridiculous or dissatisfying ( alert spoiler ahead). Just because at the end zack not going with casey doesn't make the movie bad. In fact it is the heart of the movie.. love isn't all about holding tight.. its also about letting go and sacrifice. I love the part when casey let go of zack even when zack assure him that he wouldn't cheat, because he knew holding zack back wouldn't be correct thing to do.. This movie is one of its kind.. many believes that casey in this movie is a low self esteem guy but thts not true.. many heterosexuals can also co-relate with that feeling of insecurity when your partner is way hot than you. People gets disappointed when they see one side of the movie that love is weak in front of looks but they don't see the other side that love is way to strong when it come to sacrifice. Apart from love between homosexual and all homoerotic things this movie has a very unique storyline of love between a straight guy and a transsexual, and feelings of a transsexual.. missing this movie could be your big mistake... and for those who still think the ending is dissatisfying please watch the last part ( open weekend) you will be satisfied.

tonyjohnsonfl As a fan of the "Eating Out" Franchise, I was very excited to see the fourth installment on the LOGO channel. However, all of the elements that made the first three enjoyable to watch simply weren't there. In fact the only thing that Eat Out 4 (EO4) had in common with the first three EO's, other than some of the cast members, was bad acting. In the first three episodes of EO, I could look past the terrible acting because I liked the story lines of "Nice, Boy Next Door gets the A-list Hunk" because what's important was what was inside or because true love won out. In some cases, it was that the Boy Next Door got to play with the hot straight guy, in others it was the A-list guy dumps another A-lister with a shallow personality for a Boy Next Door who had charm and a wonderful personality. You always had somebody you were routing for to get the great guy. However, in this last installment, the couple you thought would grow old together,Zack and Casey broke up. Why??? Because the Boy next Door, Casey didn't feel he was good enough for the A-lister Boyfriend, Zack and because Zack found somebody he thought was cuter. Their relationship didn't seem to be in trouble. It might have gotten into a bit of a rut, but every relationship slides into a routine. That is not cause to break up at the first site of a hot hunk. This film fed into the stereotype that gay men are only into the physical aspects of men and that they could never have a lasting relationship because something new and hotter would eventually come along.Yes, yes, this is a comedy, but the only thing that made the first three entertaining except the cute guys, was the story line.I left the movie feeling that I no longer liked the Casey character because he had so little self respect and self esteem that he gave away his boyfriend because he didn't think he was good enough. I also ended up hating the Zack character because when Casey said he wanted to break up with him because Zack liked the new guy, he never once protested. He immediately went on to make out with the new guy. So why would I ever watch another sequel that involved these two characters? After bashing the film for all of the bad things, there was one little part of the storyline that I did like. Transsexual and the straight guy infatuation and buddy romance felt real and the Trans girl was a real beauty. Unfortunately, she was not enough to carry the movie.
Gordon-11 This film is about Casey and Zack going to a summer drama camp to learn acting. Soon enough, they find out they get a lot more than acting lessons."Eating Out: Drama Camp" is a pleasant surprise. I like the plot a lot, as it is full of bubblegum, lighthearted happiness. It is a film to sit back and relax, then enjoy, laugh and have a good time. Apart from the brain off entertainment, there are deeper subplots of self acceptance, courage and the heart to let go when love is gone. It can bring a tear to your eyes among all the laughter. That's the beauty of "Eating Out: Drama Camp", and I really like it. I am already looking forward to the next "Eating Out".
