From feminist director and provocateur Monika Treut comes this eclectic collection of four short documentaries profiling unconventional women. One has Camille Paglia explaining her ways of thinking. One has Annie Sprinkle explaining her approach to performance art, which includes inviting audience members to view her cervix with a speculum. One interview investigates a professional woman's preoccupation with sadomasochism. The fourth documents the life adjustments of an F2M (female-to-male) sex change who looks like a dangerous biker, with slick black hair, a matching motorcycle jacket, and tattoos.

Female Misbehavior Audience Reviews

SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
ShangLuda Admirable film.
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Dalbert Pringle This DVD titled "Female Misbehavior" contains one feature film (80 minutes in length) and 4 short films (each about 10-20 minutes in length). The feature film is titled "Didn't Do It For Love". This 1993 celebrity-documentary chronicles the life and career of actress/businesswoman, Eva Norvind who (following her stint, in Mexico, as a 1960's screen-siren) went on to become one of NYC's most sought-after dominatrix in the 1980's.The 4 short films on this disc (which were all filmed between 1984-1992) focus in on "real-life" woman who are either - (1) Porn performance artists - (2) Bondage/fetish professionals - or - (3) Female-to-male transsexuals.All-in-all - I didn't much enjoy any of these films presented on this DVD. All directed by German film-maker, Monkia Treut - (For the most part) - I found them to be very grungy, sub-par and amateur productions all round.
