FRED: The Movie Audience Reviews

Artivels Undescribable Perfection
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
invisibleunicornninja These movies are terrible in pretty much every way. The only reason I'm writing a review is because I've been told that the story behind how I watched these movies is funny. Around when this movie came out, I had never heard of Fred before. I also had little understanding of YouTube. When I was told by my friend that I should watch these movies because they were awesome, I believed her and went on Netflix to binge-watch them. This movie is shot like a YouTube video, so that confused me. The same friend had also told me about Five Nights At Freddie's, and I thought that it was the same thing because they both had "Fred" in the title. I thought that this movie was supposed to be a horror movie, and was a bit creeped out by all the nonsense in it and how Fred is a stalker. The next day, I told my friend that the movie was stupid and she said that I just didn't understand it and that I should watch the next two. So I did. The second movie is a confusing mess. The third movie doesn't even have a plot. There are a lot of dream sequences in this series. I found them very confusing. I don't think that you can use the excuse "its just a kids movie" for these things. When I watched them, I was around the target age range and I was confused, scared and annoyed by these movies. I don't see why anyone would watch them. They aren't even funny to watch ironically. If you want to have some fun, go on YouTube and watch the bulk review of all three movies on the channel "I Hate Everything." Its hilarious. I'm not even going to write new reviews for the next two movies, I'm just going to copy/paste this review. These things are dumb - and by things I mean the Fred movies.
clvgirardind I believe this movie was a well written, well rehearsed movie. It's plot about chasing the girl of your dreams is an original idea, never done before. The cinematographic of movie was well shot, good job my man. The pool scene made me LMAO ROFL so funny! The inclusion of John Cena as the inspirational father and convenient plot mover was smart and quirky. All and all this was a fantastic movie, I've seen it 4 times and still can't find a single flaw! Fred the movie is a flawless movie with picture perfect shots and acting. 10/10
Jose Miguel Loreto I know what you're thinking, movies based on internet icons? If I wanted to make a film based on a meme, I'd simply do it with the style of Pixar or many other good film strategies. 1.Smosh the Movie seemed a bit of a fresh start, but I liked them better when they did YouTube videos.2.Angry Video Game Nerd the Movie was definitely not my cup of tea, I liked the AVGN as a web series, not a film. But Fred the Movie is possibly the worst out of all the films made by some YouTube celebrities. It doesn't capture the spirit of the original internet meme. We all know he wants to be with Judy, but just the idea of following her... Bro, that's so not cool. Kevin seems like his character seems a bit backwards. I mean he's still the same bully, but this not the kind of upgrade I would want to see. The only thing I found interesting is when John Cena was a part of this film. I'm sorry but putting a cameo of a wrestling star is not gonna safe your life. What's even worse, is that Fred keeps screaming. He never shuts up! There's never a silent moment where he can just chill out. And he the film didn't give us what Fred went through to get what he wants. Seriously Fred, Judy needs some personal space. All I'm saying that if you wanna make film based on an internet icon, that's fine, might be worth a shot. But do it like you were an expert in Storytelling. Lucas, you can't just make this film because you want to, you need a lot of effort into it, you need to follow the rules of storytelling. So, now to end this review. Don't watch the bad Fred Figglehorn, watch the real Fred Figglehorn on YouTube. P.S The sequels suck too, they're pointless.
GravityLoudHouseLover1 Hey Guys RegularShow1 here again an today I'm going to review "Fred: The Movie" which was a TV Movie that aired on Nickelodeon on Saturday, September 18, 2010. The movie is based on the YouTude star "Fred Figglehorn" as he wants to find Judy his love interest who has move a way and he on a journey to fin her. This movie so stupid that I love as a Guilty Pleasure because Fred acts so dumb like the part of movie where he is make cheese fries and he eats some of the cheese fires and dramatic music starts playing when Fred burns his tongue and he overacts and he ran around the house saying hot and he try to find water and goes to the sink and puts his mouth on it but there no water in it so he goes and finds the hose and sprays himself. This part is so stupid that funny. A another part I thought was funny was the part where Fred is going into the woods saying he so scared and he runs to a deer and the deer starts talking and then the Deer starts singing and Fred sings too. The movie is really stupid that I like it. Anyway I'm giving the "Fred: The Movie" a 7 out 10 stars. Anyway Guys I'm RegularShow1 and have a nice day. BTW HAPPY LABOR DAY.
