Hostel: Part III Audience Reviews

Alicia I love this movie so much
GazerRise Fantastic!
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
chickentv WHY?????? Why DOES THIS even be called good? How did they waste 6 million dollars on this thing. Like you actually spend 7 bucks for this DVD at Shopko. Waste of 7 bucks!
SnoopyStyle Ukrainian couple Victor and Anka are taken prisoners by the Elite Hunting Club. Scott is having his bachelor party leaving his fiancée Amy behind. Instead of going golfing, Carter takes him to Vegas where they meet up with Mike and Justin. Kendra and Nikki invites them to something a little freaky. After a night of partying, Mike is taken. The other guys try to find him and encounter Kendra who is also looking for missing Nikki. It won't matter to fans whether this is good or not. The defacing is a good way to start but the bugs are kind of stupid. In general, I have a problem with moving the franchise to Vegas. Part of the appeal is clueless first world people going to third world backwaters where they get torn apart. This doesn't have that. The kills aren't as good as before. The gladiatorial combat also takes away from the message of the franchise where money can buy anything.
Amthermandes Lower budget, no Eli Roth directing, not nearly as effective as the first two, but worth watching if you're a fan of the series up to this point, just for the sake of finishing the series. The movie starts as one would expect, and honestly the first third of the movie really reels you in, with a couple neat little twists and good set-up, only problem is that is goes downhill fast. The gore effects are cheap, and the build-up for each torture scene leads to quite a disappointment. The previous two movies had good tension builds that led to something shocking, whereas this movie leads to something silly, cheesy, or just plain stupid. The characters are plain (and in one instance, highly annoying), the dialogue is forgettable, the plot is simple. It can be entertaining at parts, but unless you consider yourself a huge fan of the series, skip this one.
videorama-759-859391 Hopefully the last in the trilogy, this one taking place in a different hostel. Again we have more hot chicks (one Russian with big you know... a knockout) and a few impressive twists, the opening one is a killer, literally, but still this one falls below par. Also it's not as gory as the other two. This hostel, sees a different change of setting, located in, would you believe, Vegas, which again sees unwilling innocents, drugged and kidnapped, this time taken out to this private casino out in the desert, where rich business guys get richer, gambling at the expense of the victim, a different concept of story I liked. A bachelor and his mates, (Kip Pardue, the only known actor in this, playing his best mate) go to Vegas, where they finally wind up at this private affair. One victim has to his face peeled off with a scalpel, a prostitute is fed these cockroaches of death. There re a couple of the inventive murders, but despite the good assets I've just mentioned, it still comes off as a just a cheesy straight to video affair. At least this ends on a more happier note, in another twist surprise. For Hostel fans mainly, this franchise has done it's dash. No more- please.
