Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain Audience Reviews

Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
Unlimitedia Sick Product of a Sick System
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Catgurl22 While the basic premise is an interesting one, it was handled and executed in the worst way possible, resulting in one incredibly bad movie. The movie is full of hackneyed cliches, cringe-worthy dialogue, and over-the-top hamming by pretty much everyone. It's like the actors and the director are trying to force the audience to feel something, anything. The only thing I felt was annoyance. Perhaps the worst aspect of the film is when the main plot is put on hold to dedicate a few minutes to the comedians Johnny Lever and Raju Shreshta. Their comedy is so childish and ridiculous that even my 5 year old kid got bored.Avoid this at all cost, unless you like to torture yourself.
Meena Kajol's acting in Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain is to be commended! I felt that her acting alone carried the movie through. The storyline was good, something a viewer wouldn't expect from a bollywood movie. But in the end there truly was something missing. Maybe it was the fact that i never felt Vijay's love for Megha! We couldn't see it through his acting, and that let down the movie a lot because we could see the love in Megha's eyes even after she was "sacked" from her "job". Overall something people would enjoy. A definite tear jerker i must admit. Overall OK songs, except for the first one, that was a poor poor effort. Again Kajol is to be commended for her acting skills because this movie would have suffered terribly if she weren't in the cast!
Sam Hum Aapke ... is basically a case of real talent gone to waste. The plot is interesting and even intriguing but at the end, the film disappoints, even by Hindi movie standards, with a stagnant, slow-moving screenplay and overdone performances. To give credit where credit is due, Kajol's performance is great and she could be said to have carried the movie on her back. Her character was portrayed beautifully and complemented everyone else's. The biggest flaw in the movie was the ending, which was over-dramatized and took away from the movie instead of adding to it. At the end, Kajol's character still remained misunderstood. From the beginning, the audience is led to believe that Anil is finally going to come around, but it wasn't really clear how his character felt and how and when he finally did come around. It seemed as though he decided to go back to his wife, not because he fell in love with her, but because of the gratitude he felt towards her, which does not address the void Kajol's character was feeling throughout the movie. A potentially good plot gone to waste. The comedic subplot was repetitive and completely unrelated to the movie; hint: keep your thumb on the fast-forward button. The songs are mediocre at best, and the first one (which includes a Hindi rap) is off the charts as far as horrid music goes. This movie is worth a watch only if your other choices are unavailable.
go_go HADMRH is a typical tear-jerker with a few differences namely that the all sacrificing image of women characters typically seen in Bollywood movies has been changed to suit the times. It's plot seems unpalatable at times but thats the liberty we will give to the film maker. Music is superb with several melodies numbers. Johny Lever adds the comic colour the movie with his antics.Overall a family entertainer which is sure to be a hit.
