I, Robot Audience Reviews

SunnyHello Nice effects though.
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
rumfugl Call it something like "Super-Cop in Robotland" and it might have been alright, but call it I, Robot and it's really hard not to anticipate that the writers have at least read the book "I, Robot". The movie feels like someone briefly explained the creators that "It's like a book about Robots and there are these three laws and stuff" and then they wrote the script. If you like action you will probably enjoy it and the story is not without its moments, but if you're a fan of Asimov and like intelligent Sci-Fi then avoid it... or at least only watch it to get your rage on.
RoboRabbit89 Let me get to it, Will Smith is really good in this movie, I like that he plays a cop who is afraid of robots but at the same time knows that they are useful. Will plays Del Spooner a police detective who stumbles on to a crime that a robot may have murdered a human.I own this on DVD, I first seen this back in 2004 in theaters with a buddy and he and I agreed that this was the best film of that summer.Bridgette Moryahan is also great as Dr. Suzanne Calvin who looks after the robots at USR Robotics Corporation, and is like Will's character but opposite, she trusts robots but not humans.Bruce Greenwood is good as the CEO, head of the corporation who is like the bad guy, his is good at playing bad guys. I haven't seen him in very much with but he is a good actor.Overall, a good action-mystery thriller that shouldn't be missed. I give it a 7/10. I highly recommend it.
diogomanuel Everyone is excited about having a friendly robot doing errands but there is an increasing trend of smart people telling us to not naively trust something other humans have created. This movie steps into that debate and although it has valid arguments for both theories, in the end a cautious judgment about everything and everyone wins the day.A great movie that does show us a plausible glimpse of our (not so distant) future, and one that makes us think about where we are going in terms of technology and the future of mankind.8 out of 10 to a movie I enjoyed watching.
briandemeyer I think the movie is good. The actors are acting good, the graphics are a little bit old but still good. Because it's an old movie (2004). The sound effects are good too just like the storyline, it's a little bit long-winded. But for the rest it's good not the best movie I saw but it's good. The costumes were good for the movie. So from my point of view i think the movie is alright it's not a 10/10 but it's a 6/10 for me. The movie is fun but boring as well because it's a little bit long- winded. But I think the writers, directors, … did a good job.
