Jack Frost Audience Reviews

BlazeLime Strong and Moving!
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Borserie it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
Pumpkin_Man When I was a kid, I was obsessed with horror movies, especially the Jack Frost movies. I've always been intrigued with movies about regular people turning into creatures, and for a serial killer to turn into a snowman was gold! For years, I've only had Jack Frost on VHS and I can't even find that copy anymore, and I was pretty happy when they announced they were releasing it on Blu-Ray. I got it a few days before Christmas, and was transported back to my childhood seeing people being killed by a snowman.A serial killer named Jack Frost has been caught by a small-town Sheriff named Sam Tiler. Sam is traumatized because Jack sends him threatening letters from prison about how he'll escape and kill everyone he loves. On his way to being executed, a tanker containing genetic material collides with the prison truck, freeing Jack. When he gets out of the vehicle, the acid in the tank breaks open and spreads all over Jack as he falls into the snowy ground. Jack's DNA is instantly fused to the snow.Pretty soon, some murders begin to happen in the small town of Snowmonton and Sam becomes convinced that Jack is involved. FBI Agent Manners and Agent Stone investigate and believe that Jack is back, but keep it a secret from the Sheriff. When Jack finally comes after Sam, the chase is on as they try to figure out how to kill him because stabbing him and setting him on fire won't work. The kill scenes are pretty impressive. If you want a 90's B-movie about a killer snowman, I would definitely recommend JACK FROST!!!
GL84 After getting killed in a freak accident, the sheriff of a small- town community finds the series of strange deaths to be the work of a reanimated serial killer able to transform into the shape of a killer snowman and sets out to stop his rampage before it includes his family. This here was quite the fun and enjoyable cheesy slasher effort. One of the better features here is the fact that this one really plays well with those cheesy antics which are spread throughout here, giving this a lot to like. The opening accident starts this off with that kind of silly nature as the idea that this one goes for in setting up the killers' motivation to return which as an idea is just so goofy that the film manages to hold onto its intense tone quite well here even after asking us to buy this moment. Likewise, there's a lot to like here with the cheesy nature of dealing with the different citizens of the town and getting to utilize the cheesiness of the fact along the way. Though obviously cheesy, these stalking scenes are quite a bit of fun here where there's the first big sequence that the family's house where he gets both parents in great individual scenes which not only feature the suspenseful stalking, the really creative deaths and plenty of cheesy attitudes here while also putting on some great fun here wit the start of the ultra-cheesy one-liners he spits out. This culmination of antics is carried out throughout here in other great stalking scenes against the town, from the roadside encounter of him clearing out the leftover members in the sheriff's house including a nice exploitation element found in the attack on the daughter as well as the fine battle at the end where they confront him in the police station and leads through the church next door in the basement where the try several incredibly chilling stalking scenes trying to get him into their trap which is a solid action scene along with the rather cheesy antics along throughout. This full-on cheese, along with the rather unique kills including the method for defeating the killer is what makes this one so much fun. Along with the fine effects work for the main snowman featured throughout here, this one here really didn't have that many flaws. All of the flaws from this one come from its cheesiness and the fact that it could be taken as something that can turn off some out there. It's got an incredibly high level of cheese, with all the mentioned features turning up in really high amounts and giving this one a total that will turn off some. There's also the possibility that there are cheese-lovers who might find this one too much due to how high it is, and that's something that can make a viewing like this incredibly unpleasant to get through or even finish, and it's really the only thing wrong as the problems all stem from it.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language, Brief Nudity and a Rape scene.
atinder No, Not the Family one made in 1998, this one is about killer who dies and then come back as a Snow man and starts killing people This is one hell of very funny movie, some of the death were really funny and silly at the same time. There were not as gory as it could have been, there was some decent creative scenes in the movie. The acting was much better then I expected for B-Movie, there were some wooden acting from kid. There were some very funny one liners from the Killer snowman Very enjoyable movie, it's one better movies out their 7 out of 10
Marcus Geebs I remember watching this movie when I was around six and it scared the crap out of me, now looking back as an older person I wonder why I was afraid of this film. Well basically what this so called horror movie is about is a Serial killer escapes death when his execution van crosses paths with a truck containing voitile chemicals and becomes a nasty mutant snowman. He then rampages through a small town, murdering innocent people until he gets the cop responsible for putting him behind bars. The acting is terrible, the storyline is cheesy, and the things they fight him off with are stupid. I wasn't familiar with the cast except for Shannon Elisabeth, and I found out this was her film debut, but couldn't she have been in a much better movie? Not only that she gets raped by the snowman that had to be the most disturbing scene I've ever seen in a movie.Do I recommend this movie? well if you enjoy bad acting, cheesy stoylines, horrible special effects then by all means watch it.
