Kingdom Come Audience Reviews

Bumpy Chip It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Tony Forget race, this is gender dominant, the ladies win hands down in this film. The men basically play slapstick sidekicks, the ladies get the best lines. Goldberg is just a sideshow, the other ladies have an excellent display of comic patterns, they're great interacting with each other.
Benoît A. Racine (benoit-3) Just caught this on local TV here and I had no idea this film ever existed. It's funny, it's human, it's warm, it's truthful but it's hopeful. I may be miles removed from the demographics pictured here but I remember a certain funeral in my own family that had all the hallmarks of this one...As far as the storytelling is concerned, this film/script/play has all the intricacies and finely observed and rendered detail that makes the films of Marcel Pagnol about the life of Southern Frenchmen so universal yesterday, today and tomorrow, all around the world.Fine ensemble cast where none of the stars detract from each other. A class act all the way.
slimm I accuired this film on DVD about a month or so back and i wasn't really expecting a hell of alot of it until i actually got round to watching it, I watched it and was blown away by just how good it was, with stunning performances from Cedric The Entertainer, LL Cool J, Anthony Anderson and a good performance from a name that is quite new to me of Darius McCrary who really brought the comedy to the film.
rickhoover1950 This reminded me of Soul Food. A movie that was an all black cast that didn't have to be an all black cast and wasn't even referred to in the movie. Good performances all around. I was able to perform in 'Dearly Departed', the play the movie is based on, playing the part of Ray-Bud on stage. It was fun to see how the subtle changes made a stage play open up wonderfully. This is not the end all movie, but a wonderful time spent with the family. Thanks to the cast and crew for allowing me to see the family I lived with for a few months during my run as Ray-Bud.
