MURPH: The Protector Audience Reviews

FeistyUpper If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Jenni Devyn Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
tain-5 The whole film is about what a nice guy he was and what a senseless death he died. You know it from the start as everyone is talking about him in past tense but you expect some heroic deed, and although they refer to him as a hero at the end, there is nothing heroic ever mentioned that he did. You wait but nope. It would seem that it is just another case of a victim being glorified to make people feel better about it and recruit more to take his place. Disappointing sentimental drivel. This requirement of having 10 lines is silly, some films just don't have that much dept to them and this is the case here. Only further thing to add at this point would be spoilers.
Ginny Bevis OK I say amazing Movie but it is so much more .. It is an example of what really happens.. Sure most of the time our government doesn't want us to see the bad in things only the things that make them look good. This is an example of what our soldiers go threw. Its a shame that we had to lose these amazing men .But Thank God one survived and was able to share what he went threw.. Most people would not like a child see this move but my 6 yr Grandson was glued to the TV watching Murphy the protector and he wants to see this move and I will gladly go buy it so he can watch it.This just goes to show us what true Heros are and how blessed we are that we had them to serve our country
dyoung7506 I've seen Murph: The Protector 4 times so far, and each time I am even more amazed at how his life set him up for his final destination. The way the interviews tell the story is truly moving when you see the giant role he has played in peoples lives. To see how his scholarship foundation is still making dreams come true. I was honored enough to see Marcus Luttrell speak on his Patriot Tour and have an even greater respect for Lt. Murphy. The American public would not fully know the story of those Heroes from Operation Red Wings if Murph hadn't put his neck out and made the call. While the documentary isn't jam packed with action of a SEAL, it's full of their other side. Explaining how and why they do what they do to become the best in the world. It's fully worth the money and time spent to watch the film. I wish there more out there.
Ed Loucks A careful study of how protecting the world from idiots who love chaos costs all of us. Direct and to the point this movie could and should be shown in schools across the USA as a lesson in the price we ask our sons and daughters to pay for our Freedom. A true work of art. For too many the 10 plus years of The War on Terrorism has become the story and not the lives lost on September 11th. This remarkable story will take you through the emotions of that day and the price our soldiers choose to pay, right up through the ultimate price that so many have paid. The citizens of the USA have the right to see films like this because for more than 250 years young men have defended our right to it for us.
