Obsessed Audience Reviews

Plantiana Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Humbersi The first must-see film of the year.
ratcat0 Well the review title says it all. Man oh man. Yes it has been pointed out in other reviews that Sharon never even stops to hear Dereks side of the story - If one were to bump into Beyonce and mention this movie surely she would cringe and hide. She plays an overtly jealous Biatch. The one thing that would have improved on this movie would have been some empathy. There must have been a point were Sharon really realises that she made a mistake about her 'Under the thumb' hubby. This 'realisation' would have made a dramatic turning point to this otherwise laughable 'B' grade TV movie. Thus setting the tone for what was yet to unravel. Sadly either it never happened or the moment was so short it was not noteworthy. This movie was bad in every sense of the word. Save yourself the time and go do some weeding instead.
Barfco BailBonds This isn't really a review, but I just happened to be looking through Beyonce's acting credits and one thing jumped out to me. Unless I missed something in her list of acting credits this is the last major motion picture she acted in and has now moved exclusively to music. Everything she has done since this movie have been music videos and what not. There's a reason for that. Watch this movie and you will know why this was the last movie she acted in and probably ever will be in. God, her acting is horrible. She's a great singer. "B" stick to singing. You are good at it. Acting.....not so much!!!
wes-connors Attractive and successful financial adviser Idris Elba (as Derek Charles) becomes acquainted with leggy blonde "temp" Ali Larter (as Lisa), when several office secretaries take time off. Frequently flashing her legs, Ms. Larter is efficient at work and makes it known she's available for sex with Mr. Elba. Happily married to beautiful red-haired Beyoncé (as Sharon Sheridan), Elba declines. Larter doesn't take "no" for an answer and tries to seduce Elba, repeatedly. She pleads for fellatio then jumps in his car to show off her underwear. Elba tells Beyoncé, "I would never cheat on you," but can't convince her the naked blonde in his bed wasn't welcome..."Obsessed" is a predictable, sub-par "Fatal Attraction". Elba is able to get in some fairly good acting, though his leading ladies are less lucky. Larter could have been helped by some back-story involving her sketchy character; that she has a sister adds no understanding. Mostly known for her recording career, Beyoncé simply hits the high notes. Capable and recognizable players Christine Lahti (as Monica Reese) and Jerry O'Connell (as Ben) have little to do, but they do it well. After some slow-going and implausible communication, director Steve Shill tries to liven things up and leave viewers swinging on the chandelier, so to speak. That works.****** Obsessed (4/23/09) Steve Shill ~ Idris Elba, Beyoncé, Ali Larter, Christine Lahti
ICanNeverThinkOfAGoodUsername This film has no plot flaws. It's just something you'd expect... You know what's going to happen, and it happens. There is nothing particular about this film which you'll remember afterwards. The plot could have been played out a lot better than it was.I felt there was no real purpose to this film. You get to the end and it's like, is this it? So what? I didn't even feel any sympathy towards the characters. The film was boring and extremely predictable. There is no real purpose to this film and for this reason I'd avoid it to anyone thinking about watching it. Although the storyline is predictable it could have been made a lot better. For example, in other films you know two people are going to end up together but it's how it happens that interests you. This film is simply too predictable and I actually got bored throughout it and kept checking how long was left...
