Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

adonis98-743-186503 After experiencing what they think are a series of "break-ins", a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem. Paranormal Activity 2 is unfortunately way more disappointing than the 1st film but also has neither the scary factor or the creepiness that you would expect from an actual horror movie. Plus i really hate this whole found footage thing with the came going back and forth and up and down and it's just pretty hard for me to tell what is happening.

amarjunchu Its clearly takes a lot from the previous movies but since the execution is also pretty good while not being a whole lot different. I still found this scary and enjoyable enough. I loved the first movie and wanted to watch the second and for me it certainly was not disappointing. But if the same formula will used for a 3rd film then I do not know if this will work or not even for me? But here in the second one it worked pretty well.

"I don't know if the house is haunted, but I hope it is." Famous last words I know...this sequel was a little bit better and a little bit worse, but ultimately got a similar score. The format is the same...slow slow slow and then HOLY CRAP at the end. It was still fun, but after this movie I stopped seeing these on the big screen. This is still POV crack and I love it, but it's not worth seeing unless you are a fan of POV and the franchise.

suganthram One thing is for sure.....u got to be really, really patient enough to watch paranormal activity movies....Having watched the first film,which i felt it was absolute crap,i knew what can be expected in the second film.But surprisingly,it turned out to better.yes,the first half of the movie was really testing my patience and i was like"Oh man,i had enough of this door opening and closing crap...when will the demon show some real freak show??"....but then the movie shifted gears and was the scare scenes were worth watching....but i thought the movie would end with Katie informing about the demonic presence,but her arrival to her sisters house was something i least expected....overall..not the best of horror movies,but was certainly better than PA1
