Princess Protection Program Audience Reviews

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
SnoopyStyle Carter Mason (Selena Gomez) only has her father Joe (Tom Verica). He goes away to protect princess Rosalinda Montoya (Demi Lovato). General Magnus Kane (Johnny Ray) takes over her country. She escapes with colonel Mason under the International Princess Protection Program. She is relocated to live with Joe in Louisiana under the new identity of Rosie Gonzalez. Now she must adjust to high school life in America while being harassed by mean girl Chelsea (Jamie Chung). The premise is silly. It's nothing unexpected from Disney. One must accept the stupidity and go on with the movie. This is about the performances of the two girls and their chemistry. They are good actresses and they have good screen presence. They are compatible together. They're really the only saving grace in an otherwise weak high shool movie.
annevejb Once upon a time an aging second plus childhood type purchased Wizards Of Waverly Place, The Movie, and soon felt it sensible to stay well away from anything involving those three brats. But hints in bits of some episodes of the series, not the movie, made the aging one reconsider.Apologies for the word 'brats'. The movie of that name, that I found to be okay. This has the fem brat of WoWP,T Movie. But it is actually not so much brat as an okay and fairly sensitive story. There is also a fem lead of Camp Rock 2 in this and while she does a weak imitation of Robot Buffy, something that Gellar acted really well at around the age of early twenties, she is oh so much nicer in this than in Camp Rock 2.When I was considering purchasing this I mostly looked at the Amazon UK reviews that mention it as loved by kids, less so by the parents who actually purchased it. On that basis this appeared to get glowing reviews. I found that aging second plus childhood type could really get to like this movie.Further, from an armchair tourism angle. The feature is listed as being filmed in the Caribbean, mostly masquerading as USA, Louisiana.
joemoe116 I am not a teenager, but i love movies i heard about Princess Protection Program. and decided to watch it. I thought the movie was good. this movie was better then i thought it was going to be. Demi Lovato plays a 16 year old princess from a small country who is forced to leave her country to avoid being taken prisoner. by the ruthless general Cain. Rosie played by Demi Lovato is recued by a CIA agent and taken to his home. Selena Gomez is Carter the CIA agent's 16 year old daughter who he recriuts to help Rosie blend in as a normal 16 year old girl. with out giving to much away this a fish out of water story. This is one of the better Disney movies. Demi Lovato was adorable as Rosie, and Selena Gomez took a chance with this role, see at the beganning of the movie Carter was not very likable, but as the movie went on Carter played Gomez became as adorable as princess Rosie. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato work well together. the story was good. the acting was good. Selena Gomez might the best actress of all the teens queens. now the movie is not very realistic, remember this Disney.
Annie Morales First of all, the ending was soooooooooo awful and I knew some of you wanted to know what happened with Ed and Carter and stuff like that. I was looking forward to that to but then I guess it was a big disappointment. But seriously, friendship is the main theme here and I think each best friend should watch this....I meant the lesson of the story. It's pretty good Carter spared Rosie and went with the General Guy and sacrificed herself for her best friend. And her dad, OMG, I hate it! The part when the rescued her....her dad should've said "I'm proud of you, Carter, you inherited my skills" or stuff like that that Carter was a brave person but of course she might've be in trouble but above all, it's a typical Disney movie except for the ending which is awful.
