Raze Audience Reviews

Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
Vashirdfel Simply A Masterpiece
Humbersi The first must-see film of the year.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
SillyGayBoy If someone likes movies that are dark and gritty this could be for you. I saw the description about women that fight to the death and was immediately interested. What may not be immediately obvious though is that this movie also goes into care with the fight scenes. I even think it looks way more realistic then most if not all fight scenes I have seen, which is fantastic. They sound better too.The angles and directing I admired too. Things like the angle something looks while covered in blood can have a chilling affect. I enjoyed this movie visually. The acting and writing I found fantastic as well.
floatingpolarbear This was a great action/horror flick with excellent acting and many touching scenes as well as some gruesome ones. The characters bring you inside them and you feel the psychological torture that precedes the physical one. Each fight scene is unique and the dialogue is superbly crafted. You can feel the female touch in the making of this movie as the actors are not presented as titillation but as human beings undergoing the most extreme situation. I wish there was more elaboration on the purpose of the cult. It reminded me a bit of the atmosphere of Martyrs, bringing that sense of intrigue and shock. I would definitely see a sequel.
jackmeat My quick rating - 6,0/10. A different look on the women behind bars story. These women are held captive and forced to fight to the death in an underground "dungeon"? That is what it looked like. Very brutal and quite depressing movie showing the violent side of the fighting coupled with the bonds this women create before they must face the inevitable if they win. They will have to fight each other. Pretty decent acting for the very limited budget. Didn't know who Zoe Bell was before (the main character) but she did a good job. Also to note, a very good ending that may or may not leave the door open for a sequel. Fighting scenes are not for the squemmish but beyond that, nice diamond in the unheard of rough.
ivan-campari I'm a huge fan of women fighting and action women in general, it can pretty easily turn me on. This doesn't however prevent me from thinking that when you make such a violent and sadistic movie you have to legitimize it with at least a decent storyline. Because if it just becomes about watching women beat each other to death, then it's just pure perversion. I would have been OK with this thin storyline if the fights weren't to the death or if they didn't last so long (most of the movie). On the other hand, I was very impressed by Zoe Bell and I found her performance electrifying. She's the only thing that prevents this whole movie to completely fall apart, since the rest of the cast is not very good, with the sole exception of Doug Jones. To sum up, this movie can be pretty entertaining at times, the leading actress is impressive and you will see a lot of women fighting. But its excesses are too gratuitous.
