Slink Pink Audience Reviews

Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Fatma Suarez The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
OllieSuave-007 Probably the first Pink Panther cartoon I've watched - here he takes shelter in the house of a game hunter, but makes himself right at home. The hunter has this mangy and annoying dog who senses that there is an unwelcome guest in the house and tries to get his master's attention, but ends up trying to take matters in his own hands. This leads to hilarious results as the Panther outsmarts the dog on a number of occasions, from posing as a stuffed body of a Ugandan panther to making the hunter think his dog is the cause of all the troubles. Every time the dog believes he has gotten the Panther in his trap, it always turn out that he got his master instead. As with most Pink Panther cartoons, this short has no dialog and the comedy and humor rely on the sound effects and action. Hilarious stuff here that would generate plenty of laughs! Grade A
TheLittleSongbird Slink Pink and the three Pink Panther cartoons from 1969 before it are all excellent and among the better Pink Panther cartoons in general. The animation is still in the charming simple drawing style the Pink Panther cartoons are mostly drawn in, while still drawn elegantly with pretty colours. The music fits with the action without much fault and the slinky jazziness of it is most appealing. The theme tune of course is a classic, and hasn't gotten old. The gags are hilarious and are beautifully matched by the visuals and music. The part where the dog attacks his owner thinking it's Pinky and then tries to make it up to him is the best part. The story is one of the cleverest and most original of any of the stories for the Pink Panther cartoons, and all the way through it has a lot of energy. Pinky has great comic timing and hasn't lost any of his coolness or likability. The dog is a funny foil and you do feel sorry for him. His owner the hunter is Slink Pink's weakest character in comparison to Pinky and the dog, his role really is to punish the dog for every time the dog tries to warn him, the thing is though it is something he does do well without being too brutal. To sum up, Slink Pink is a gem, one of the funniest and cleverest Pinky cartoons and one of the better ones too. 10/10 Bethany Cox
Atreyu_II "Slink Pink" is one of the best and funniest Pink Panther's cartoons. It is humorous, amusing, hilarious, entertaining and great fun. Besides, even though the artwork is usually simple on these cartoons, it is always on a high level and this one is no exception. The story is great, of course: on a cold night, the Pink Panther is freezing and has no place to sleep, but he quickly finds a big and tempting house with a fireplace. The house belongs to a hunter and his white dog. Once they come back home, the Pink Panther disguises himself as a stuffed animal. The hunter is so stupid that doesn't realize this, but the dog does. Whenever the dog tries to warn him about the Pink Panther, he gets slammed by his master. Even though the dog is mean, I feel bad for him because the hunter blames and punishes him for everything. The funniest things about this animated short are whenever the dog attacks his master by mistake (thinking it is the Pink Panther) - especially when he bites his master at the chair - and whenever Pinky drives the mighty mutt crazy.Overall, this is pure fun and a natural Pink Panther classic. Very enjoyable.
ccthemovieman-1 Whoever thought of this idea had a good one, and something different. The Panther pretending to be a stuffed animal and driving a dog crazy? Yup, that's the story here as the PP sneaks into a warm home on a cold night, sees a bunch of stuffed animals and then pretends to be one when the owner and his pet dog arrive home. The dog is onto him, but the owner is clueless. The scenes of the Panther in a frozen pose and the reactions of the dog are just hilarious. The dog, and I've seen this poor canine frustrated like this in a couple of other Panther cartoons, is really fun and the hit of the cartoon. The only problem is that it gets frustrating to see the innocent mutt get blamed for every bad deed the Panther does. The biggest laugh I got, however, was the dog kissing his owner's feet after accidentally chewing him up!Every time you see this particular dog in a Pink Panther cartoon you can be assured of a funny story. I've seen him in a few and they have all been great.
