The Box Audience Reviews

Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Tobias Burrows It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
chris-473-146576 The opening 10 minutes are great. I thought this was going to be a really interesting psychological thriller. It quickly descends into farce, and has undoubtedly the worst plot I've ever seen from a movie. So bad, I recommend you actually watch it. You won't believe your eyes.
adolphhogan After a night of watching transformers movies and cartoons I was ready for a serious movie. sadly I was disapointed. not only does this film fall short in explosions and slow motion leaping through the air away from an explosion scenes, but it also falls short in the giant robots exploding and explosions shot out of exploding robot guns departments. I thought for sure the box would eventually transform into an exploding robot, but its just a stupid box for the whole movie. there was one scene where I was certain that cameron diaz was going to say "ROBOTS IN DISGUISE....BEEP BOOP BOOP" then transform into a motorbike and leap through the air in slow motion through an explosion. didnt happen. if you are thinking of watching this movie I would strongly suggest you save your money and rent a transformers movie instead.
ramkoil This was a refreshing movie. A cognitive movie. A movie that puzzles you and demands attention. A movie that grabs you and does not let go until the last second. All of the above is true if you have a brain that does not require a flashing screen to keep your attention. if you have an attention span of 3 seconds or less then you should give this movie a miss. Some reviewers have complained that there are many unanswered questions in this story. My response to those reviewers are try and think for yourself, and don't expect everything to be given to you on silver platter already homogenized and digested. Or maybe those viewers should go and watch Mad Max or transformers. In here characters are 3 dimensional and human like, not cardboard cutouts. Very refreshing I wish there were more movies like this.
hackirk The Box is the only movie I have ever walked out of a movie theater during. I ended up watching and finishing it a few months later, and I regretted it. The ending did not at all match up to even the genre I was expecting for the ending. The trailer showed an entirely different movie than what I watched, and I was not pleased with the new plot lines and completely unexpected direction of the movie (not in a good way). I feel like the ending did not match the first half of the movie.
