It is not a documentary about "prostitution" in Cuba per se, as in the guy pays money in exchange for sex, it is more about Andrew trying to pick up girls in Cuba. The author, Andrew Lindy, is obsessed with beauty. A New York based fashion and travel photographer Andrew longs as much for connection as he does for beauty. Being a travel photographer and having written travel articles for ELLE magazine, Andrew feels at home anywhere in the world... and as a fashion photographer, he is comfortable around beautiful women. This is a look at the lack of sexual taboo in Cuba, as well as the financial difficulties that lead to prostitution in some Cubans, for the purpose of survival.

The Cuba Prostitution Documentary Audience Reviews

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
adamhaywood-81211 This video production, a "Travel Bum Production" by Andrew Lindy, which was posted to YouTube in 2017, is disturbing. This guy really is a bum, a self styled Canadian Joe Francis. His approach is similar to that of other self-important neophyte idiots who travel to a country for the first time and then try to pass themselves off as experts to others who have never been there, without properly appreciating what they are experiencing. Going to Cuba is not the same as going to Miami Beach at spring break time, it is a foreign country and it is still a totalitarian state. By videotaping subjects in compromising situations, without their knowledge or permission and them publishing the result, Mr. Lindy has also compromised their privacy and security. The hotel security guard will probably lose his job and will possibly go to jail. The girls risk going to jail as well. At one point the author says he never paid for sex, including a romp with two sisters and yet he paid the hotel security guard to let them in?? Give us a break ! If the author has any guts or respect he would take this video down off YOUTUBE. The next time he wants to videotape himself with women in such situations, he should at least use a bit of common sense : if he does not want to ask the permission of his subjects, then the least he can do is to enjoy the videos privately, by himself, and not publish them. That poor single mother cannot support her child from jail. It is too bad immigration officials never checked the cameras' memory card upon the author's departure from the country, as they sometimes do . Foreigners taking videos of Cubans with full frontal nudity in Cuba can land them in jail for a long time down there. Lindy may be at risk should he decide to return to the country.
ngali24 The first review said it all.An ugly American hits Cuba on a one man sex tour - boasting about picking up girls, luring them into softcore photo shoots and cosying up to prostitutes.Pretty bad in itself, but he compounds the error by blatantly sharing his dick nature by moaning about stuck up and sexually repressed American girls and sharing his half baked ideas on Cuban politics.I'd almost be in awe of the balls on this guy for going through with this - if I wasn't fully satisfied its more down to a complete lack of self awareness. This will haunt him - and it should.
Joel Waite This is not a professional documentary, but then again, it's not like the other reviewer states; that "..this movie is about some guy visiting Cuba to get laid..". Despite a lack of in-depth research, the guy does show a decent interest in what's going on. A few interesting points are, you are likely to have trouble walking down the street at night with a woman. You can't just claim that she's your 'wife' - you have to have a document to prove that. The one girl states that they just live to eat, that they are like animals, with little hope. Surprisingly, there is little nudity, and some actual revealing points about Cuban life.Nothing great here, but also nothing really terrible about this 31 minute 'documentary'.
weightgain4000-1 This is not a documentary this movie is about some guy visiting Cuba to get laid and filming his "exploits" In this movie Andrew explains he is looking for a "sweetheart" someone who will take you home to meet the family! When in fact all is he really looking for is some free fun with local women with no strings in the guise of a "documentary" From bribing the hotel guards cheap talking his way into many ladies pants threesome's with two sisters and run in's with police this movie is not pleasant to watch as yet another foreigner takes advantage of the poor in this country Shame on you Andrew and I feel sorry for the Women you exploited in your "film"
