The Knot Audience Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Bergorks If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
Kimball Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
otterman62 to put this in perspective we sat down to watch this as something suitable and harmless for us both and we ended up switching it off after about 15 minutes. Do the people that made this really need to have it explained to them that there should be something endearing about the people in a romantic comedy? also a guide for a comedy is that its an idea to put some funny lines in........absolutely charmless. This film was so bad that without a doubt some of the other gushing reviews are fake. This is an embarrassment to the British film industry and a waste of an opportunity.
Magnimus Stryker Another reviewer suggested that the glowing reviews this movie has gotten here are fake, and just looking at them, I did think that they were very similarly worded. The other thing that might tip you off is that they give the movie a very high rating, while the overall rating of the film is only 3.4. I decided to check out the movie myself, and although it has its moments, they are too few and far between to rescue this shipwreck. This movie is about as bad as American Pie: The Wedding. I kept wondering throughout what planet the screenwriter is from, because humans on this planet do not talk or behave the way the characters in the movie do. The acting is fittingly wooden, as the actors were probably cringing internally at the awful, stilted dialogue they had to deliver. I want my hour and a half back.
Sara Al-Tahan Thoroughly enjoyed Skys preview screening of The Knot Film on 02/10/12!! You guys did good! Plenty of LOL moments definitely theBritish Rom com of the year!! I thought this was a bit of a different direction for Noel Clarke and i wasn't too sure how this would come together, but i am very pleased to say that this film did NOT disappoint in anyway! Cleverly written and well cast there were no awkward moments. Talulah Riley plays the bride to be very well and has some cracking bridesmaids played by none other than the beautiful and talented Mena Suvari, Rhoda Montemayor who steals the show as bridesmaid Anisha and also the lovely Louise Dylan. Lets not forget the real men in the film Noel Clarke, Davie Fairbanks, Mathew McNulty, Jason Maza, Brett Goldstine who i think gave class A performances!!Definitely Britains own Hangover/Bridesmaids Well done to everyone involved in making this cracker! #IDO Make sure if you see one Rom com this year this should be it!
Eve-Yasmine Saoud-Easton I'm an 18 year old teen journalist so here's a young perspective! I thought it was awesome! The Knot is a fun-filled film full of funny moments and excellent British cinematography. Throughout the movie two characters (a couple who are good friends of the bride and groom) film the entire wedding. I particularly liked this element as this is exactly what our generation is like! We're constantly capturing moments, whether that be through Instagram or making Youtube videos and sharing it on Facebook and Twitter. It was relevant, memorable and oozed modern humour - Noel Clarke's and Brett Goldstein's delivery was jokes!Great choice of cast, an eclectic mix of British talent joined by Hollywood star Mena Suvari - names both older and younger audiences are familiar with/can relate to.I went to two screenings, one packed with an industry audience the other was a public screening. Both crowds showed their enjoyment, there was lots of laughter and overall a positive vibe.I'd recommend it to my college mates, couples and anyone who fancies a good fun night out!
