Science Fiction Volume One: The Osiris Child Audience Reviews

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
jonhgoldie I liked the idea, the movie was well-produced and spent time and effort on making a film that LOOKED more expensive than it was. Good score and sound and effects.Poorly scripted dialog and too many bad American accents. It's ok if some people in space speak Australian. Also looked like they borrowed the monsters from an original star trek episode...maybe spend some more time on that too.
peppiesg It was was so bad, I had to fast forward the whole show to find out how it ended.
harveyawatson-92649 I have been enjoying science fiction films since childhood and I have seen many that grasp the creative spark and others that fall on their face. This one albeit low budget is of amazing quality. The story is interesting, there is a little I would have worked on but overall it is a solid effort both visually appealing and story wise. I will admit the "creatures" failed to really do it for me, I didn't care much for the whole origin story of them nor did I care for their overall design. They felt like something from the "dark crystal" to me and were roughly equally animated. That being said the rest of the movie was a solid home run, I love the fighter crafts and the "land speeder" that are featured in the film, the technology had that futuristic yet believable characteristic that makes sci fi films much more believable, a futuristic M-203 grenade launcher for target practice really got me hooked. Not to mention the subtle details like the morning coffee maker, that our main character skips in favor of his future miller highlife (or whatever brew). I liked the subtle redesign of the classic longneck. These little details keep us attached and believing versus overwhelmed.Overall it was kind of a mix of district 9 and the futuristic parts of outlander. When Hollywood is so focused on the same mundane stories and sequel after sequel and remake after remake I find it very pleasant to stumble upon a film of this creative caliber with such amazing qualities.
michalklebs Quite interesting and solid story line, very good acting and surprisingly convincing CGI. If not for the way monsters look and few other technological flops it would have been an excellent movie. Totally underrated (especially when compared to latest revision of Alien)!
