The Snitch Cartel Audience Reviews

SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Sameeha Pugh It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Freeman This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
marcokool I want to start off by saying that I've seen A LOT of gangster/mobster movies. I just love the genre and I found this movie as a pleasant surprise. It had excellent acting, cinematography, and it was never boring even for one second. It was just an emotional love story that took place in cocaine capital of the world, Colombia, in the year 1993 shortly after the death of the most infamous drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. This movie reminds me so much of the Netflix TV Show "Narcos". If you love that show like I do, then you'll definitely love The Snitch Cartel. It seriously is as entertaining, Latin charismatic, cinematography-good, nice to look at settings/environments, and sex-filled as Narcos. Also props to the whole cast who did an amazing job in acting. I was surprised by how good Kuno Becker was in this movie since I thought his acting was only okay in "Goal! The Dream Begins" (2005) (I really freakin love that movie btw. So inspiring.) He reminded me of a Orlando Bloom in Kingdom of Heaven (2005). He just did such a good job. I'm proud of him. This is my first movie review, but I had to make one since I loved this movie so much and saw there were only 2 reviews for it. I was close to giving this movie a 10/10 especially because of how awesome and perfect the cinematography is but the shoot-out scene and the ending disappointed me since I didn't feel it was realistic in the world of cartels (but I was still more than entertained).Other gangster/mobster movies I would recommend are: American Me (1992), City of God (2002), The Roaring Twenties (1939), The Public Enemy (1931), Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time (2012), Carlito's Way (1993), and of course Scarface (1983)
mcamadcastle The Snitch Cartel is a Box Office HitThe new upcoming The Snitch Cartel movie is set to open October 18th all over the U.S. If you have researched this movie because you've been hearing about it then you will know that this movie has been released internationally for about 2 years. Foreign language films such as The Snitch Cartel usually open overseas and if they are critically acclaimed then they get picked up by a U.S. distributor. The hype that this movie is receiving here in the U.S. is expected. The Snitch Cartel sounds like a modern day Scarface, only this story is true as it follows the life of Andres Lopez Lopez. Why he has the same last name twice is unknown to me so don't ask. Andres Lopez Lopez wrote his manuscript in a Miami prison that would eventually become The Snitch Cartel. The Snitch Cartel is a True StoryAndres Lopez Lopez lived every moment in The Snitch Cartel. I was watching an interview the other day he did with "Despierta America" which is a very popular Spanish TV Show, and Andres is a very interesting character. He started out in the lower ranks of the Cali Cartel in Colombia and eventually became a lieutenant for the cartel. The story he tells in this movie is better than any mob movie can ever come close to. What makes this movie even more intriguing is that Hollywood is now giving American audiences a chance to peer into the life of the cartels that they only see in news clips. This is not The Godfather where respect and rules are followed and audiences across America will get to see a first hand account of what these cartels are really about in The Snitch Cartel. The Snitch Cartel RevengeWill cartels seek revenge on Andres Lopez Lopez? Cartels have been known to never let go of a grudge. I mean, just last year, Griselda Blanco (the Colombian Godmother) was gunned down in Colombia after living away from the cartel for so long. Andres Lopez Lopez lived a life of wealth, cars and women and now he is making a movie and writing books about his experiences within the cartel. Drug Cartel do not like exposure in the mass media and they will keep an eye on Andres Lopez Lopez and the upcoming The Snitch Cartel very closely. The old saying is very true, and like Blanco, do not be surprised if Andres Lopez Lopez dies by the gun.
daaviduarte It is a good action movie. I enjoyed the movie. But it doesn't have something that makes this movie remarkable or something that makes it different from other action movies. It's part of the gangsters' genre, everything happened fast, which is good for an action movie. Some shooting scenes are not totally convincing, I mean 5 gays with power weapons have a lot of troubles to kill two guys with just a pistol. it's the same old thing: treason, prostitution, cocaine, dead, money and gangsters' eccentricity. Well, if you are interest in really good films make in Colombia I recommend you this tittles: "La estrategia del caracol", "Satanas", "Paraiso travel".
