The Time Traveler's Wife Audience Reviews

SoTrumpBelieve Must See Movie...
Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Kirpianuscus a seductive idea. maybe because, as child, it was one of my leading dreams. surprising performances. and admirable air. a film telling the lines of a book. in admirable manner. and nothing more. because it is a film about family. and about the meets who define lives. it is a film about sacrifices. and about love. and the so simple basis of a Sci. Fi. who is just tool of touching romance is its virtue who impress. because , in not ordinary manner, it is a film about the viewer. about relation and about challenges. about feelings and about emotions. about the basic ingredient of old fairy tales. and about choices. a beautiful film. a real beautiful film. this is the only significant word for define it in decent way.
Desertman84 Based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger about a librarian with a paranormal genetic disorder which allowed him to go back in time and build a romantic relationship with a woman,Clare Abshire, who will become his future wife,The Time Traveler's Wife which stars Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams provides us an entertaining and interesting romantic and dramatic film. This movie written by Bruce Joel Rubin and directed Robert Schwentke present a love story about a man who works in the library from Chicago and beautiful heiress at different events of their lives as they try to build a stable and firm romantic relationship with each other.Despite the fact that it is a typical chick flick and it does not have a refreshing nor an original fantasy romantic drama, both lead stars - Bana and McAdams - provide a great and compelling performance that the viewer becomes focused on their characters - Henry DeTamble and Clare DeTamble - being on a long-distance romance with respect to time and their actions to have a successful and fulfillment in their relationship.Despite having characteristics of certain movies like the Back To The Future movies and Brad Pitt's The Case Of Benjamin Button,it will still delight many viewers who love romantic movies whether comedy or drama. In the end,it will still delight them in more ways than one.Credit the lead stars for their performance in it.
Dana Al-Basha You've guessed it! Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite actresses and I adore her movies. To watch this movie, I read the book and it really does have great writing here and there but it wasn't my cup of tea, all I disliked in the book was omitted from the movie. Which really made me love this movie.I don't believe in time traveling as in going-back-to-the-past OR future, but I enjoy the idea so much in fiction. This was the first time I thought of time traveling as nightmarish! It wasn't a joy to watch or experience in theory, it was really painful. But again, I loved Clare's studio, as an artist I love decor and creative spaces.
lisafordeay Now don't get me wrong I love a lot of fantasy movies and some time travelling movies(like Back To The Future was a good one),but when it comes to time travelling movies they have to (a) make sense and (b)not to confuse people. So what is this movie about well its about a man named Henry(Aussie Actor Eric Bana)who is married to Claire(Rachel McAdams) and they have been married for a while now. But Henry has this condition where he transports himself back in time and if he can't control it his gonna basically die. The whole concept was terrible and the film was just so boring to look at. And like I said I love fantasy films(depending on what they are) and yes folks I even liked Kate & Leopold too(another film that has time-travelling as their plot device) but this film was just dull and crap.My advice watch something else that won't confuse you.3.5/102/5
