WCW Bash at The Beach 1998 Audience Reviews

Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Verity Robins Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
callanvass Live from San Diego, CAAttendance 10,095Your commentators are Tony Schiavone, Bobby Heenan & Mike TenayRaven's Rules NO DQSaturn Vs RavenRaven wins with help from Kanyon and Scotty Riggs. The match was OK. It had some decent spots from both. Not a bad way to open the show.**1/4 out of 5Juventud Guerrera Vs KidmanJuvi wins. Man...what a match! This is what you call a show-stealer. The cruiserweights were stealing the show all the time at this juncture.***1/2 out of 5Chavo Guerrero Vs Stevie RayChavo purposely taps out in the first 10 seconds so he's fresh for Eddie GuerreroHair vs Hair MatchEddie Guerrero Vs Chavo GuerreroEddie wins with a small package. Chavo starts cutting his own hair and freaks Eddie out. Chavo's crazy gimmick is getting very tiring and the fans are slowly getting tired of it too. Lot of fans cheering for Eddie. Match was decent.**3/4 out of 5"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan & Dennis Rodman Vs DDP & Karl MaloneDisco Inferno Vs KonnanThe nWo Wolfpac do their thing because you had to fit them in somehow, right? Konnan wins with help from Kevin Nash. This was an impromptu match and completely pointless.3/4* out of 5The Giant Vs Kevin GreeneGiant wins with a chokeslam. I like Kevin Greene...but this match was godawful. Greene has no business in a wrestling ring, no matter how much I like him.1/2* out of 5Cruiserweight TitleChris Jericho (C) Vs Rey MysterioJericho talks trash and gets more than he bargained for. A returning, Rey Mysterio. This crowd sucks. Mysterio wins the title after a distraction by Dean Malenko. Malenko beats up Jericho backstage. Arn Anderson prevents Jericho from escaping. Nice angle here from everyone involved. Match itself was nothing special.** out of 5Television TitleBooker T (C) Vs Bret HartBooker wins by DQ after Bret attacks Booker's leg with a chair. Stevie Ray eventually comes out for the save, but purposely takes his time. Stevie was on the verge of a heel turn. Match itself was pretty fun...if a bit heatless*** out of 5World Heavyweight TitleGoldberg (C) Vs Curt HennigGoldberg kicks out of a Hennig-Plex and wins with a Spear and Jackhammer. A glorified squash...but a competitive one. Hennig got a chance to strut his stuff.*1/2 out of 5Diamond Dallas Paige & Karl Malone Vs "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan & Dennis RodmanHogan and Rodman win, thanks to The Disciple. Malone hits a bunch of sloppy Diamond Cutters on everyone, even referee, Charles Robinson. This is one of the worst Main Events you'll ever see. It's ridiculously bad. Malone and especially Rodman were so awful. It's admittedly a great spectacle...but it's god awful.DUDOverall, this had some good moments and some bad moments. If you avoid the main event, you'll have a decent time.6/10
amanwhorocks 1. Saturn Vs. Raven - These two were great competitors. Exciting match that Raven won. 8.5/10 2. Kidman Vs. Juventud Guerrera - OUTSTANDING match, but I like Kidman as a winner better. 9/10 3. Hair Match: Eddie Guerrero Vs. Chavo Guerrero, Jr. - Chavo shaved his head. 7/10 4. Disco Inferno Vs. Konnan - Poor disco job to that clown in a terrible (and terribly short) match. 5/10 5. Giant Vs. Kevin Greene - Why WCW didn't recognize that Green doesn't work? 5/10 6. WCW Cruiserweight Title Match: Champ-Chris Jericho Vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. - Mysterio's victory was strange and quite incomprehensible. Match was weaker than usual. 7/10 7. WCW T.V. Title Match: Bret Hart Vs. Champ-Booker T. - They put a solid moves, but DQ. 7/10 8. WCW U.S. Title Match: Curt Hennig Vs. Champ-Goldberg - Good, but I have a weak spot for Hennig. 7/10 9. Diamond Dallas Page/Karl Malone Vs. Hollywood Hogan/Dennis Rodman - Malone tried hard, Rodmann EXTREMELY sucked and so the whole match. No I have to say it once again it Sucked in a big way. Because of DDP and Malone I give 3/10
