It really offers a satisfaction and appreciation of all the people in your life who are in your circle of family and friends. I had to stop and absorb that, just let it hug me, thanks to this film. It's even more poignant knowing that in the film industry there is now another woman director making well thought out and gorgeous films. Shadowmancer It's a melodramatic tear-jerker of a film, but considering the almost non-existent budget, it's quite remarkable. However, it doesn't stand up to Hollywood-class scrutiny. The sound needs another pass; the pacing is slow through much of the first reel and some other places; there are some scenes that could be re-ordered to hold viewer interest more powerfully; and there's an absolutely atrocious story choice involving a relationship with a therapist that gets lightly brushed aside. Still, the fact that the film was made at all, and the fact that there are some really great ideas, characters, and story moments makes it worth watching.
