The setting should be a bit like a sequel to the movie, with hotel scenes and New York landmarks all having this feel, as well as an HBO series.
The whole animation still takes the route of young age, the story is more conventional, there is no metaphor like the previous work, at least not visible. The plot is also a small story, fast-paced, sometimes even the title is not clear.
However, this is the only genuine Tom and Jerry series in years. There is no linkage with any characters, and there is no forced introduction of new characters. Anyway, for nearly 140 minutes, be yourself and be happy for the sake of being happy.
