Alphas Audience Reviews

BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Dotbankey A lot of fun.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
pasa-2 It has good actors an plenty of good writing for the characters themselves. However the plots of the episodes are mostly ranging from bad to extremely annoyingly bad. And the solution of the problems is even worse. For the second season they added a great arch that makes even less sense in either idea or execution.Recommended only for people who can not think at all or can deliberately turn off their brain. But the latter population can easily find better nonsense shows that are at least fun.
Chappy Watched I found this series hard to watch, mainly because I didn't like any of the characters.More notably disliked were David Strathairn's 'Dr. Lee Rosen' and Malik Yoba's 'Bill Harken', who I just wanted to reach into the TV screen and punch in the face for most of the time.I found some of the story lines to be pretty predictable and boring but having said all that, I did really like seeing some non-typical powers on the show and not the generic ones that always appears in these type of shows.I have no interest in watching the second season and I'm not entirely surprised that it got cancelled.
blatern I really enjoyed alphas but was left hanging at the end of season 2 with not much explanation . Would like to see signs of a third season but from what I can find I'm not holding up much hope . Shame I really started to like the characters especially Gary , made me laugh it was good to have that little bit of comic relief . Also I thought that the characters abilities were well explained even tho they are unrealistic each ability was explain in a way that made it somewhat believable . So overall a great series with one downfall . My message to the producers : Don't leave a cliff hanger with no conclusion !
porchowskyfb My husband and I fell in love with the characters within the first two episodes. We loved how it took, presumed, problems (disabilities) and turned them into special abilities. It was realistic enough in the beginning that we could grasp the ideas they were trying to create. However, the second season and maybe even the end of the first season, went downhill quickly. The show became so unrealistic that it was a pain to watch. The only reason that we watched it to the last episode was because a friend had told us it was fantastic. We got to the last episode and were throughly unimpressed. Kat was the best part of the second season. After the show finished, we felt like we just wasted hours of our time.
