Big Rich Texas Audience Reviews

Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
richard-l-west The people on this show represent everything that is wrong with the world - horrific, plastic, shallow philistines.  It embarrasses me that this show is on television in Europe because it so poorly represents the US; however, it does represent white trash, middle class superficial values, and maybe that's the point. The people involved probably don't see this, and that's what is so tragic. Their world and what they represent provides zero utility to humanity. The temptation to rubber neck this societal wreck is tempting, but don't reward those involved. These people have horrible, sociopathic interactions which redefine the lowest common denominator in low brow entertainment. One would be nearly justified in suing those involved for emotional distress after watching an episode as well as losing time never to be regained for a worthy endeavor.I genuinely hope someone from this show reads this review and takes stock in how their life is horrible, shallow, and generally lowers the bar for society.
brikh23 OK...I'll admit it. I like bad reality TV! The Real Housewives of (whatever city name here) is one of my favorite series, so when I saw that Big Rich Texas was just basically the same thing, I gave it a shot. And wow...just wow. A bad wow. My jaw dropped at some of the things they showed, like a woman who is a size 4 to 6 being told she would make a great Plus Size model, and another getting some unsolicited advice that she is decent looking but could use some plastic surgery to make her look better. The woman who was told she could be a plus size model told her friends who did not reassure her otherwise, but instead told her she should listen to the agent who told her such. Don't get me started on the abundance of obnoxious teens. Perhaps it is trash TV at its best. It might appeal to some demographic somewhere, but it definitely doesn't work for me.
